It really does make for a smooth consistent motion virtually dispensing any chance of a nick or cut. The handle is also in line with the Gillette high standard of quality and durability almost break proof. I have and still plan too recommend this razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have now been using the Gillette Fusion Proglide. It is the best razor I have used. I have gotten a very close and clean shave each time I have used. The razor moves effortlessly on your face, the movement of the flexball is quite good and just makes for a nice clean shave, no beard left, smooth skin. I really like the edge for sideburns trimming, great idea, easy to make a straight line on the sideburn. I highly recommend this razor to all. I promise you will like the shave. I have used electric, disposables, etc., this is bar none the best shaver I have used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prior to receiving my starter kit in the mail. I had seen commercials for the product on TV and was intrigued. When the Gillette Fusion Proglide with Flexball arrived I was interested to see what kind of difference if any I would experience versus the standard handle. The feel of the shave was much more comfortable with less drag and pull but as for the closeness I have not really noticed much of a difference. The shave for me at least does not appear to be any closer than using a regular Fusion razor.

The only thing its that it doesnt give me a clean shave i need to pass the razor 3 to 4 times befoe it does the job, its great because it doesnt feel rigid but i think it could have been better. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shaving to me is one of those things I really do not look forward to....ever. Since I have started shaving over 20 plus years ago I have yet to find that Holy Grail of ultimate closeness and no skin irritation. The new Fusion ProGlide manual razor with FlexBall Technology I was hoping to be my savior. But as it turns out after several shaves it performs no better than my Gillette Fusion. The attached pictures show my face after a shave with the new razor and then one with my old one. Can you see a difference? I am not very convinced that the swivel of the ball helps any. It does look cool and space aged, but that is all I got out of it. I could feel the shave head moving and pivoting as I shaved but it did not seem to do any better or worse that my non-flexball razor. So I am giving this 3 stars as it did the same job as my current Gillette razor. I think that the idea of this type of razor was a good one, maybe it worked for other people. But my experience was a less than positive one.

I have always judged the closeness of a shave by the amount of stubble the following day. I have been using the Gillette Fusion Proglide with Flexball Handle for two weeks now and found that this razor has provided me with the closes shave to date. In other words, less stubble the following day. If getting a close smooth shave isn’t important to you, continue using your current razor. Otherwise buy the new Fusion Porglide with Flexball.

You get a great answer to this question when you try the Fusion ProGlide, Even with sensitive skin I receive the close great shave that I'm looking for in a razor. The FlexBall TechnologyAllows me to move about my face with less irritation.

From a mechanical background I knew a lot of though was applied to the design from the flexBall Technology to the 5 thinner,finer blades I was able to get every hair on my face even my hard to get place, my bottom lip. This manual razor gave me less tug and pull and was awesome on my sensitive skin.

I haven't shaved here in about a week and I know when I do tomorrow morning my face will be left feeling nice and soft. I'm actually kind of excited as weird as that sounds. No more short and annoying hairs!
