[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not a gimmick! I am amazed at how much better a shave I get from this product. Although I have always like Gillette products for their ingenuity I was curious as to how this product would really provide improved performance.The flexball handle enabled the head (blade) of the razor to conform on its own to my face enabling full contact as I made each shaving stroke. The contouring aspect of the flexball lets the head shift the blade where normally I would have had to make another stroke with the razor at the new angle to ensure a close shave. Overall this reduces the number of strokes needed to finish my shave as well as reducing the need to go back and reshave to get a really close shave. Overall it seems like a much closer shave. Of course the proglide blades haven't changed but since I only recently "found" the single blade trimmer on top that lets me get all the way up under the bottom of my nose I will highlight this feature for those that have yet to discover it. I can't imagine the next improvement for my shaving experience but after three weeks shaving (on a single blade) I am very pleased with the flexball handle!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette Fusion Razor was specifically why I turned away from Gillette to begin with. It cut me all up and caused all kinds of irritation and only lasted a couple shaves before it began pulling. This new version of the razor has indeed improved and I'm glad to say that the razor along with the Gillette Gel worked perfectly! I've shaved several times at this point with the razor and gel and I've not been cut once and there's no irritation. I tried the razor by itself, which is my benchmark for a good razor. If it doesn't pull or cut or caught irritation without any gel or cream then it's good. This version of Gillette's Fusion razor has performed gloriously! I shave my head every couple days and I shave my face about every day. Since I began using the Fusion and the gel, I haven't gotten cut or irritation or anything negative for that matter. The blade glides over my head contours and face contours perfectly. I'm a bit crazy when it comes to getting a super close shave, so I don't want to feel any stubble at all. Even if you can't see it, there's stubble, so I want it all gone. Gillette was my go to for that and I think they have done a great job coming back to that sort of product that allows me to feel completely smooth and clean after a good shave. I was always a Gillette Man growing up, so I'm thinking it's time to go back!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start out by saying I am not an everyday shaver. I tend to shave once or twice a week. So after recieving my free sample Gillette Fusion Pro-glide razor with the flexball, I had relatively long stubble to be removed. My first shave with the razor was incrediblely painful! It felt like I was pulling out each hair individually. It was so uncomfortable I stopped using it halfway through the shave and went back to my old razor. I honestly thought I'd never use it again. But after talking to some friends who use it and like it, I gave it another shot. My second shave went much better. When finished it did leave my face feeling quite smooth. I would use this razor if I shaved more frequently because it is good for very short facial hair. However, if you have more than 3 days growth you might be in for a painful experience.

This Razor get the job done quickly and completely...without batteries. Also, when I go "again the grain" my face doesn't looks like a red compost heap.

I think the FlexBall allows you to get a closer shave by moving over the face smoothly. I would definitely repurchase this razor again.

It did seem to pull a little if my beard grew a little longer than I usually let it grow. But then I have a very thick beard too. If I shaved every other day like I normally do it was a very clean shave. It cleaned out very well, unlike a lot of razors I have used. It seems to stay sharper longer than most others do too. I would have to say that it was very well worth the money.

The flexball technology helps the blades guide to ever angle of your face. The blades stay sharp and cut with ease. On top of all this you get the Gillette quality that you expect with the great name. I recommend this to anyone looking for a new razor. Even if you aren't, I recommend that you try it and I bet you will switch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a fan of Gilette razors, and I have used all of them. This new ProGlide razor is as good as any razors on the market. It's sharp, thus, only need two passes. If apply the 2-in-1 gel and heat the blades with hot water, you will have a clean shave without a razor burn. I recommend them.

Even with the nicest of safety blades, I would accidentally slide the blade sideways across my skin from time to time trying to get those pesky areas like around my upper lip. Now, with the flex ball handle technology, this doesn't happen. I am a very loyal Gillette blade customer, and I love his blade as much as all the others I've used, if not more! The blades slide effortlessly across my skin and don't cause razor burn or irritation. I also don't miss those few errant hairs either. Socially, my friends have noticed the close shave and made comments on how nice my skin is after a fresh shave. Thank for the confidence boost Gillette!
