I am an engineer and must say I am hard to please, but after putting the SkyFort together I can honestly say it is very sturdy. Some of the pieces were damaged when I received it and I was short some hardware, however customer service replaced them no questions asked and free of charge. My kids jumped on it as soon as I was finished and love all the features (there are many I might add for the cost). I have three girls and they have enough room to play on it without getting in each others way. I recommend opening ALL 4 boxes and sorting the pieces of lumber from A to R and then numerically. This will help you later when you are searching for a specific piece of lumber. Then get a long table from SAMS and layout all the bags of harware (all 41 bags). Use the material list and number each type of screw/bolt from 1 to 41 and use that as a guide when reading through the directions. If you are tackling this project by yourself like I did....alot about 5 hours for every 20 steps (101 steps total). It took me about 5 hours of prep time and 25 hours to assemble by myself. If you dont feel like doing a big project, you can contract the assembly out to SAMS CLUB for about 600 dollars. I am glad I did it myself because one of my little girls came up to me during the assembly and said that I was the best Daddy ever and then she hugged me and called me Mr. Wonderful. That was worth more to me than 600 dollars.

Ordered the playset with assembly (and pre-paid Sam's Club in full including assembly) and getting their third party company to show up has been a disaster. I paid Sam's club for an end-to-end service and their install keeps being postponed last minute. Has been over a month now that it has been sitting here. Sam's club takes your money very quickly.

It took us two full days to put a Thompsons Water Seal on every board. Then it took three more days to build the playground. Follow the instructions carefully and you will have no issues. Keep your lists from each box and keep all those boards in the boxes because it makes it easier to find specific boards. So far it has been great. The kids love it! Just another incentive to enjoy time outside in the fresh air.

Pros: 1. Fun mid-range swing for the price 2. The children enjoy it 3. Fast delivery and easy scheduling Cons: 1. The boards with the lookout tower should be one slab and not planks because sand/ particles fall on the kids underneath who are swinging. 2. The swings are a bit low so need adjusting 3. The monkey bars could have an extra bar to provide the needed length for smaller children to reach 4. The people who put together the swing set missed screws, studs, and altogether some need to be screwed again. Some screws were even screwed too much which has caused the wood to break and create splinters and broken pieces. We’ve had to make several adjustments in only 1 week. 5. The wood has huge splinters! Advise children to wear shoes at all times.

Love this playset! We bought this for our 2 year old daughter. She outgrew her toddler set and we figured this set would last her until she was 9 or 10. She absolutely loves it! She plays on it for hours everyday. Loves the rockwall and the look-out tower (she likes to pretend she is Rapunzel). Obviously she is too small for the monkey bars but she hangs off them with daddy holding her. I would not hesitate to recommend this set. It is high quality and well made. We compared this to a set at a big box hardware store, and this set was much nicer and better made at a much lower price. A couple small comments... one, some, not all, of the hardware is cheaply made (screws stripped etc). For a nice set, the hardware should be better. Second, the pieces all come in different boxes with no rhyme or reason. My suggestion is to take an hour and separate the wood by letter and number. You will save hours searching for pieces. I did this for my husband and he was so happy. Believe the 24-48 hour time estimate for assembly. My husband and son built this in about 30 man hours. Overall a great purchase!

My order of the Skyfort ll Cedar Swing Set/Play Set with Slide arrived on Wednesday. Thursday and Friday I applied water sealant to ALL wooden pieces and sorted by the alpha of each part number. Saturday had 2 men help get through step 4. No building happened on Sunday. Then I was on my own through for the rest and still had 3 young children in tow throughout almost entire build. Set was completely put together by Wednesday. Part H2 and the swing beam gave me some trouble and thankfully I called someone in to help me align it because once I got it to where it should have aligned the little cut out notch would fit the beam in it. Could have used a little more direction as to where pieces went on the structure, Step 7(example place wall boards on "interior side" of structure#. But overall I would highly recommend this set and company to anyone. However do yourself a favor and have help and get a babysitter during build:-) I could have gotten more help but the kids and I weren't willing to wait a week, so Mamita got cranking to it while daddy was working all day. Oh ya but 1 BIG complaint I have is for the screws #PWF 10x1/2#provided for green triangles like step 34 are AWFUL and just strip out. Just terrible!

So, its been 2 weeks since I have finally had the swing set built. The kid absolutely loves this thing and while that is the sole reason we do any of this. I wanted to give an honest review of the entire set up. Now this review is for the DIYers not the ones who paid for installation. I'm quite capable and have all the necessary tools to do this job without even thinking twice as well as this is part of what I do for a living is installation maintenance and repair of items. 1) as was stated by others and myself now. It comes in with a lot of heavy boxes when delivered. Be prepared as this is something that you will have to be mindful of and how they are moved. 2) separate out the parts. Keep the parts list for each box and keep those boxes separate from one another. 3) Use sandwich bags and itemize each step with hardware to each bag. This process takes a long time but you will be happy when its done. This also allows for the ability to find out what is missing. Found a couple of items that were not shipped as far as hardware goes. Customer service is amazing for them and they shipped those items out next day by the way. Just do your diligence in regards to the hardware items. Count twice. put things in bags for each step and you will be less likely to throw things later. 4) the wood is questionable. Now granted chinese cedar is cheap and you can tell that by how soft that wood is. There's a great deal of warpage, but you almost have to accept that as it is wood and it does warp some. Though some of those pieces are brittle and some of them came in cracked. I made due and was able to make some pieces out of cedar I found at menards. This is something I just didn't want to wait for in the build process. 5) Pay attention to hole locations, sometimes the directions are a bit sketchy and after a period of time, and having to go back and forth many times, it gets daunting. I was less than impressed with the directions, but thats because I'm picky and I don't care for how these items were stamped. Some of those stampings you couldn't read so you were having to guess on those parts, hence why I said keep the parts list for each box and those items separated out. 6) the hardware, that stuff is cheap and some of the shavings were not completely cleaned out. The threads were fouled. Some nuts had metal shavings still attached to them and could not be used. Really just cheap stuff. You all that make this should do a better quality control of those items and the stamping of the wood. Also some of the holes did not line up either. 7) it is definitely a sturdy playset when its anchored into place, even with someone as big as myself climbing up on top to put the roofing in. All in all, again this is because my child loves this is why we purchased it. The headaches I experienced would be for anyone doing this assembly themselves, but I am so thankful I organized the hardware the way I did because I would have lost my mind putting this together each step only to realize I was missing items. Its a monster thats for sure! I guess i forgot to factor in all the ground work that needed to be done. And you will definently need at least 3people to help each day..about 3-4 full days. Sorting wood and parts can be a days work in its own. We received LOTS of split wood. Its so dry and cheap we will have to stain it this year too. We just finished building today. Started almost 2weeks ago but we only had 1good day of help and lots and lots of rain days. Directions were rather sketchy on some parts and we did have to take a prior step apart and redo. I will admit..if i didnt have to buy a ton of mulch for the 6inch safety rule i would have paid the $650 to have them come out and build it!

I bought this in April 2022. The assembly instructions were excellent, but had I any issues with assembly, there's an app with more detailed assembly instructions. Assembly went smoothly with just me and my son. The grandkids LOVE it! When hurricane Ian hit, the eye was 10 miles south of us. We were hit with 150+ mph winds. As I watched, I thought, without a shadow of doubt, that this Skyfort II swing set was going to end up in my neighbor's yard. I honestly believed it would be destroyed. To my surprise, it survived INTACT. The only damage - minor - was a result of fallen trees. There's still a palm tree resting on the swing support beam. I wholeheartedly recommend buying this set.

I paid so much for this product thinking it would be of better quality. The wood was split, cracked, had holes, or was weak when we received it. Then when you went to drill screws they would split or break. It took us over a week to put it together because the directions where awful to decipher. The Spanish version had more helpful information than the English one, such as enlarged diagrams, however I cannot speak nor read Spanish so it wasn't that helpful. Anyways we spent most of our time searching for The right boards and redoing stuff to put it The right way because of the little detail The instructions would give you. The stamps that label the boards where half there if there at all, so we had to have a separate pile just for the boards that we couldn't identify. It was a messy and when I posted it on my Facebook I said "it's only taken blood, sweat, tears, and talk of divorce, but it's finally finished." and that very same day that we finished it my 4 year old sat on the make shift stools over the "sandbox" area and it snap and splitered into pieces.... Very disappointed.
