I must say first that I love the look of this playset and can’t wait for my girls to see it (it’s a end of summer surprise after being away for a couple months visiting their grandparents). BUT, it was only installed a couple weeks ago and I noticed yesterday that it’s already peeling. It’s rained only twice and not all day yet some of the wood looks like it’s old already! I have protectant and will cover it today or tomorrow, however, the quality can’t be all that great for this to happen so quickly. I didn’t see any suggestions saying u must apply protectant day one of install! I’m not happy with the imperfections I’m seeing already, but that’s the bad part about these, what can I do?! Deal with it and pray the protectant stops the peeling. If you’re purchasing, be prepared after days of putting it together (took my guy 2 days), that you also add in the final step of applying protectant right away!

This is an amazing playset, however it is a beast to set up by yourself. I'd have at least 3-4 people helping to set it up, and organize your wood by letters from the get go. It would he nice if some of the parts were actually put together upon opening, we were missing a piece of wood other my husband had to build from scratch, which was frustrating. But over all great quality.

The number one thing to point out is what the directions of where the pilot holes need to face. Several times I got ahead of myself and had to step back and redo. I prebuilt as much as I could in the house since it was hot as crap. Other item of worth to point out, is get it built quickly as some of the boards will warp if left unassembled for to long. Mine sat for a little over a week before I got started. After I completed the swing set I invited the grandkids over and it was a big hit. So I am very happy with it.

It’s huge and awesome! Kids love it! If you are doing this by yourself plan on at least 30 hours. I had to get a helper after 3 days of 7 hours a day. Then finished with a helper in about 10 hours. It’s a job, but the instructions are easy to follow and very detailed. I’ve never built one and it went pretty smoothly. Just takes a lot of work.

A couple of boards are peeling terribly which I would never expect for the price of it

A very nice design, has many great features, looks great but not as strong as I would have liked it to be. To much give in the clubhouse floor , wood splitters very easily. I just don’t see this lasting to many years.

I love the product but the parts packaging had no organization. I suggest one person use packing list to locate parts and stage the pieces according to steps. Also suggest 2 people to assemble. It took 3 of us approx.14 hours

Excellent product. Well labeled. It’s no joke of a job, but if you have an extra pair of hands you can get it done. Took us about 20 hours, start to finish. Best advice is have two drills going at all times and spend some time sorting out all the wood and hardware by step. We spent about 3+ hours filling our garage floor and then when it was time to assemble we flew through the pages.

My husband and I purchased this set for our two kids, ages almost 8 and 4, for Christmas. It was delivered the day after Christmas and took us about a week to build, but the kids were SOO happy with it - they would stay outside until after it was dark every day to play on it! The assembly is no joke; it took four adults the better part of five days to get it all together. But my husband and my dad (both engineers!) actually enjoyed figuring it all out and making it happen! It's definitely worth it to take all the parts & lumber out of the boxes and organize it a bit before you start building. That really does expedite each step because it's easier to collect your supplies. Overall, instructions are pretty clear - we only had a couple things we had to undo and correct - and the structure itself is both beautiful and fun. Our oldest (almost 8) can do everything on it with no problem and still has plenty of room to grow into it. Our 4 year old can't do the monkey bars yet, but LOVES the swings and being able to climb up to the fort multiple ways. They spend time on it every day and are enjoying having their friends over to play too :) For any adults wondering, this set is definitely a good size. My husband can do the monkey bars without his feet touching the ground and both he and I can stand up inside the main fort without hitting our heads! The smaller, shorter section is a little low for an adult, but both our kids have no problems.

The sky fort is a really great playhouse! It has all the features we wanted. It is definitely large but because of its shape you are able to find several angles of set up that work It did take a very long time! About 40 hours for two people (80 work hours) and you definitely need two people a lot of the time. Organize all wood and hardware first alphabetically out of the box Only downfall is some of the coating on the wood is peeling a bit but not much ALo, we had a lot of leftover hardware... not sure why!
