Love the Skyfort 2. I purchased this for my grandsons and my son put it together by himself with no help. It took a full weekend and one other day to finish. On a scale from 1 to 5 with 5 being the most difficult, he rated it a 4 on ease to assemble. Said an extra person wouldn't have made it easier but would have made it quicker to finish. It's very sturdy and the boys love it, they are ages 2 and 6. The only disappointing thing for me is the size. It's smaller than what it appears in the picture. Before he began assembly, he laid everything out, took an inventory, read the reviews, and watched the video. That helped a lot.

I am impressed with the finished product, but the assembly was very difficult. It is a 131 page manual and there are about 40 different bags of various nuts, bolts and screws. It took me at least 4 days to put together myself and I am a builder! But for the price, the finished product is nice, definitely not heavy duty enough for kids over 12 though. Definitely meant for kids age 3-11. Overall, great product, took away a star for being extremely difficult to assemble.

We hired 2 builders to install this for us -- and they agreed that the intimidating number of pieces and hardware told the whole story: it was a beast to put together!! But it's a pretty thing, sturdy enough, with simple and lower-level fun for younger kids, high monkey bars and crow's nest for older kids -- really nice combo. Contrary to what some others have said, the monkey bars are at a great height (NOT too high), even for our 5yo (this is how they LEARN to drop safely!). We'll probably replace the wavy slide soon -- a straight slide gives a faster (and more comfortable!) run -- but it's certainly functional as is. The set needs 100% level site; no leeway in the setup. I took off one star because of two quite notable things: 1. Like so many other swingsets these days (!), the swing beam is WAY too short, putting the swings (or whatever apparatus you hang) WAY too close together; collisions guaranteed over age 5. We'll be removing the middle swing when older kids are really flying on it. 2. The wood is NOT a real cedar (Northern White cedar); it is a cypress, as is its cousin, our Western Red "cedar." It is, nonetheless, durable and naturally resistant to insects, fungus, and rot; not particularly hard -- but a good product. It is used virtually everywhere now because the tree matures VERY quickly--quick growth = quick profit, etc. All in all, it's a good set, if a little pricey. Definitely has something for everyone, all components seem trustworthy, and virtually every area is visible to a nearby adult -- and, oh, the shady picnic table underneath is excellent. --Me plus 2, 5, & 7yo grandkids.

It definitely took some time to put together but if you download the app it has really good pictures and details to break it down easily. My only complaint is that it would have been nice if they were boxed in order of assembly. Best to double check every box with the provided inventory sheets and layout before you start anything. Outside of that all the kids love it.

We bought this for our grandchildren and they love it! It does take a few days to assemble, but the instructions are easy to follow and the pieces clearly labeled. With all the hardware sorted and labeled it was no problem to find what was needed. We have already recommended this to a friend.

My husband and I purchased this set for our two kids, ages almost 8 and 4, for Christmas. It was delivered the day after Christmas and took us about a week to build, but the kids were SOO happy with it - they would stay outside until after it was dark every day to play on it! The assembly is no joke; it took four adults the better part of five days to get it all together. But my husband and my dad (both engineers!) actually enjoyed figuring it all out and making it happen! It's definitely worth it to take all the parts & lumber out of the boxes and organize it a bit before you start building. That really does expedite each step because it's easier to collect your supplies. Overall, instructions are pretty clear - we only had a couple things we had to undo and correct - and the structure itself is both beautiful and fun. Our oldest (almost 8) can do everything on it with no problem and still has plenty of room to grow into it. Our 4 year old can't do the monkey bars yet, but LOVES the swings and being able to climb up to the fort multiple ways. They spend time on it every day and are enjoying having their friends over to play too :) For any adults wondering, this set is definitely a good size. My husband can do the monkey bars without his feet touching the ground and both he and I can stand up inside the main fort without hitting our heads! The smaller, shorter section is a little low for an adult, but both our kids have no problems.

I purchased this and decided against paying the $600 for them to Install it. Some friends and I put it together, and I was very disappointed with the quality of the wood. It would split in some places when putting the bolts or screws in. It had quite a few places where there were knots in the wood. Not to mention the majority of their predrilled holes, did not line up like they were supposed to. I was very disappointed in the quality after spending $1700 on a swingset.

The instructions have a lot to be desired. (Destructions) More explanation was needed on the pieces because the holes on the various pieces were off ever so slightly that you couldn't tell it should be turned the other way till you were a couple of pieces into a section. Then you would have to take it all apart and do it all over again through out the project. That being said, it looks great up and the kids love it.

Bought this for my son who loves it. The directions are a little lackluster. They set comes with some tools to use but doesn’t tell you to use them anywhere but there are definitely places they should be use. Overall it’s a great swingset. Took me 20.5hrs to put together by myself. Use an impact driver it will save you time and having to replace bolts that get stripped from screwdriver and regular drill.

My kids are 7and5 and they absolutely love it soooooo much it does feel weak like other reviews but once together pretty solid the other thing is the screws and bolts omg soooo many bolts beat bet is leave all the wood planks in box and in the screw box got papers on each part in each box which would have made it easy but I toke all of them out but other than that can't get them off of it
