This is a great swing set my grandaughter loves it .It was a present for her third birthday. I researched alot of playground sets before deciding on this one. It was a good choice. Although it was a job to assemble it turned out to be well worth the effort. It took me three full weekends to put it together with some help from my wife and friends. We laid all the pieces out and put the matching pieces together. This took time but made it easier to find materials. We purchased the steering wheel and the dagon slide cover. I used 12 -18 inches of pea gravel for the safe zone fall protection and enclosed it with landscaping timbers. It does a good job as well as looking great. The finished project looks wonderful.

Almost perfect Nearly perfect! Easy (but long) instructions. Did almost everything with one person. Came up short by 3 on one bag of screws, but brass wood screws are easy to find. A few boards were warped but not unusable. It has a great warranty and if I wanted to have BYD replace those parts, they would in an instant. Give yourself 3-4 days if you are doing this by yourself, 2-3 with 2 people. The monkey bars are 7.5 ft off the ground so we are waiting to install them until we have wood chips down. The most important part? The kids love it!

During a time when our childrens' lives are anything but normal, the Skyfort II brought a welcome smile to their faces, and the wonderful sound of laughter to our backyard. Our girls love the large fort and crows nest, and they spend hours alternating between swinging on the swings, and climbing on the monkey bars. I elected to assemble the playset on my own, which was a large task, but very managable with some organization of the pieces and hardware at the outset. I also chose to pre-treat every piece of wood with a water sealer/UV protectant semi-transparent stain, prior to assembly. To enhance the usability of this playset for our daughters, I covered the sandbox area with additional cedar plank flooring, creating an even larger ground floor pinic and play area. With so many restrictions and closures at present, the Skyfort II was the perfect way to create a safe, full featured playground for our daughters, in our own backyard.

The Skyfort arrived one day later than the estimated delivery date because of a holiday. We were prepared for a 3-4 hour sorting project which actually took us 3 1/2 hours for two people. All of the parts were there. Day one of construction went well even with our 18 month old Twins helpings us. Day two presented a few problems because the directions were not perfectly clear. We had to dis-assemble some steps and re-install them differently because we mis-understood the directions. No big deal, just some lost time and repeated steps. At the end of day two, we had the main structure complete plus the slide and it's lookin' GOOD! Next weekend we should be able to complete the construction project.

Skyfort 2 is a classic backyard discovery swing set and is always a hit! It's well built and if taken care of properly will last a childs entire childhood. The skyfort part can be a little tricky to install but if you take your time it's worth it.

I studied playsets for our girls for over a year and decided this was the best for the money. I am not at all disapointed. Read other reviews due to issues others had. I myself was not missing anything, however I still need to call CS and get two pieces replaced.(Not critical). I built this set pretty much entirely by myself, had help with positioning the frame before starting the floors, putting in ground stakes, and placing the swingset beam. Took me about two weeks to finish, but this included two coats of water proofing protection on each piece prior to assembling. Looks great and my girls absolutely love it ages 5 and 4. It is very sturdy and sound, adults can't help themselves and have swung on it and used the slide. I would highly recommend this set, you will not be disappointed, and customer service is great. I misunderstood instructions a couple of times in the begining, so once again really look at the pics too, otherwise they were very thorough. Project completed mid July. Still very pleased.

Came in 4 big boxes, really surprised all that fit inside these long boxes. Quality is okay wish some areas where a little bit more reinforced with thicker wood. Would definitely recommend professional installation. Our 2 yr old loves this play set we basically have our own park in the back yard and she will get at least another 10 yrs of use out of it.

We just finished assembling this playground. It took the better part of 3 days and 3 people (sometimes 4). All pieces are labeled well. It helps to organize before assembling. We had all the “H” pieces in one area in numerical order, “M” in another spot, “F” in another spot and so on. One person read directions, one found pieces and two assembled (when we had 4 people). It's important to double check that pieces are facing the correct direction so all pre-drilled holes are in the right spots. Boards on their own seems soft and possibly flimsy, but once assembled, it is very sturdy and solid! Can't wait for my kids to play on it!

After looking at several models, we decided on this one to satisfy a range of many ages. We have a 3 yr old and a 6 yr old. The fort, slide and crows nest are perfect for both and the climbing wall and monkey bars for the elder. All items were in box and properly labeled. The instruction book, along with the BILT app made for an extremely smooth and easy installation. I pretty much built this on my own (and I am a novice YouTube watching amateur). I used another guy for the lifting of the roof and for organizing the screws, bolts and washers. Total build time was approx 26hrs. This set is very forgiving, because the placement In my yard is not completely level. I ran into a few uneven screw holes at the very end, but I know this was because of the placement. The complete swingset sits very nice and is completely functional on uneven ground. Not recommending this, but it works. Once it's all together, it's solid and does not sway, bounce or rock. I highly recommend laying all the parts out by letter or number (in order), it made for a quicker and smoother install. My kids love this and as parents, we are loving every minute of their enjoyment. Highly recommend this for the price and functionality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this in June for our grandkids and they absolutely love it! When they're not climbing and swinging, they're hanging out in the clubhouse up top or at the picnic table. It is a beautiful addition to our yard as well. We've gotten so many compliments on how it's such a nice-looking swingset. It took us a couple of weekends to assemble - we had all the parts laid out and organized on the ground beforehand. In the evenings when we're out back sitting on our patio it's almost like a centerpiece in the yard against the sky. It's big enough to where our grandkids and the neighbor kids can enjoy it all at once, and it's held up pretty good so far. It's been a great investment!
