I bought this a month ago, read directions, unpacked and had it completely assembled by myself in 12.5 hours total. Main thing to keep in mind is to keep all your fasteners in the package they come in so you can locate pcs. as they are called out per page/assembly. Extremely well spelled out directions if you follow them exactly.....key word... "exactly"....you follow the directions and have an incling of construction/common sense building wise you can succeed in assembling this playground in one weekend.

The sky fort is a really great playhouse! It has all the features we wanted. It is definitely large but because of its shape you are able to find several angles of set up that work It did take a very long time! About 40 hours for two people (80 work hours) and you definitely need two people a lot of the time. Organize all wood and hardware first alphabetically out of the box Only downfall is some of the coating on the wood is peeling a bit but not much ALo, we had a lot of leftover hardware... not sure why!

I put this together by myself (44 female). Easy to follow directions, just make sure to pay attention to hole directions. Tips!!! 1. I went through the directions before I recieved order and numbered the pieces according to step. 2. Lay wood out and hardwood in steps! It's a lot! I stained it with high quality stain. As much as we pay for it, I want it to last.

When I started my search for a swingset, my husband told me that it had to fit him too. Thankfully we have a large yard. I fell in love with this one and finally worked up the courage to drop the money on it. It arrived in four large boxes and the reviews told me to organize it ahead of time. I’m glad I did. I understand the logistics of it. Making sure they all fit in these boxes, but with sooooo many codes, it was tedious to search for one code and find it in all four boxes. We have some hardware missing and two roof panels split. But they had it sent out so quickly. It took my husband and I about 30 hours to assemble. My son and every kid in the neighbourhood loves it.

Installers were fabulous!!! Product is excellent!!! The customer service personnel from Go Configure who booked the installation were HORRIBLE. It took seven weeks, dozens of phone calls, and a request to return the $2099 product and be reimbursed for the $846 installation fee to finally get an installation date. To say I was given the "run around" is an understatement. These people did not seem truthful as they repeatedly explained how they understood my frustration and were working so hard to get through to the installers. Funny how an installation date was booked within hours of my request to return the product and be refunded the installation fee. (My credit card was charged for the product and installation on July 1, but the installation didn't take place until August 20-21. Two months of credit card interest!) The two gentlemen who came to do the installation are saving this review for the company. I am rating with five stars because of them and their excellent service. They couldn't have been any more professional, careful, and courteous with the installation. Thanks, guys!

The kids cant get enough. Its no public playground as far as strength, so dont sit a grownup at the bench unless you want to be reminded you weigh more than 150lb. Im 188 and it creeks at me. Lol but it is sturdy and i can climb into the tower and stand no problem. Its perfect for growing littles!

We purchased this for our 2 kids, ages 2.5 and 6. They both love the set, and I feel like they are the perfect ages to enjoy it all. My husband (a builder) put it together in 14 hours by himself. 8 hours the first day, and 6 the second. I can imagine if you do not have any building experience it could take twice as long. I did not like the strong cedar smell, but remember, this is Chinese fir, which is much more aromatic than domestic cedar. It went away almost completely by day 2. We didn't have any damaged pieces, and everything went together fine. We modified the monkey bars, though, as it was a danger to both of our kids. They are way too high and the opening was an accident waiting to happen for my 2 year old. My husband cut them down to the deck height so our 6 year old can reach by himself, and installed it next to the ladder. We put another slide in the opening where the monkey bars were. Perfect! We did not seal it - we will wait to put a dark stain on it next year that will just act the same way. Overall, a great buy for the price we paid my kids will get a lot of use out of it!

Awesome swing set. My sons love it; they are 5 and 4 yrs old. Since I am working full time, I spent less than 4 hours for 5 days and 2 full days weekend to complete it by myself. It's not too hard to build. I agree with someone mentioned that wood is little bit cheap quality, and swings are pretty close each other. Also, you can purchase sand for the sand box. Kids spend their time all day with the swing set. So far, I am extremely satisfied with the purchase.

Bought the playground, was delivered in about a week. Came with 4 flat boxes. Never would imagine that the whole set will fit in there. It took my husband and 1 more person 5 days to put it together ! Sometimes it was days they worked from the morning to the sunset.. it was overwhelming. But going by the book pretty easy to follow the instructions. We are planning to paint it to prolong the life of the wood. Also agree with previous review about the swings being very close and sometimes our kids bump into each other! The slide... is another minus.. it’s very cheap thing, that is made from many details. Hard to slide and Our kids already broke it a few times, the tubes that hold it falls down and not steady (it’s not heavy peace that you would see at commercial playgrounds).

We purchased the Skyfort II cedar swing set for our grandchildren. The price included installation, which was a huge plus. The workers did a fair job, but seemed to be in a hurry, and left quite a bit of paper bags, loose hardware that wasn't used etc. lying and blowing around our yard. We had to take the eight anchors they installed out, and level the playset, as it was way off. Once we did that, we also discovered some of the hardware lying around wasn't extra, it was just not installed. Even though the installation was suspect, I would recommend it, as it would of taken me two to three days to assemble the set myself, and I am a licensed contractor. There are lots and lots of parts, and lots and lots of screws to hold them all together. The grandkids have given it two thumbs up, I would also recommend a good coat of clear sealer on this playset at least once a year, and it should keep the sun from fading it out, and help make it last for many years.
