We purchased the Sky Fort II for our grand kids. It is advertised as being made of cedar. It is NOT CEDAR. It is a white wood painted a cedar color. A little disappointed as we might have chosen a different product had we known. We are worried this wood won't hold up well.

We love it so far. Only just finished putting it up a week ago but a big hit with the kids. We love how it has a little bit of everything. The fort area is a good size and has more head room than other forts we looked at. With 4 kids we needed a big fort with lots of different areas to play on. Some other playsets have the swings hung under the monkey bars which I think is stupid, but this one has them seperate. The crows nest is the best part about it according to my kids. Also there is a little picnic bench underneath which we didn't really see in the picutres before we purchased the playset but were really happy to notice it later. Some of the little screws and washers were missing but no big parts. And some of the instructions were a bit confusing but we were able to figure it out anyway.

We bought this play set last fall and have used it almost daily. We love the features, the picnic table and the crows nest. All of our friends children come to play at our house. This play set will last us for many, many more years. We paid for someone else to assemble it and I must say that was the right choice.

We have had this playset for about a year. I researched playsets for what felt like an eternity and finally settled on this one because of reviews and features as well as cost. My husband put it together himself with a little help from me and a couple brother-in-laws but did most of the work himself. It took him about two solid days, however, he had little difficulty. Instructions and parts were clear which made it easier. My kids love it!! It is very solid and does not rock at all even with 5 plus kids on it and all swings being used at once. It looks just as good now as it did a year ago. We made a great choice and would recommend it to anyone!!!

We bought this a couple weeks ago and it came in fast. It took my dad, step-brother, and myself 3 days to complete. Some tips: 1. When you first get it, open all of the boxes and line the matching pieces up somewhere for ease of access. It'll save you a lot of time instead of getting them out of the box as you need them. Same with the nuts, bolts, screws, washers, ect. There are a LOT of pieces. Each box has a packing list of what's in that box. Step one, for example, requires pieces from box #1 and #2. 2. The wood is extremely soft, so make sure you pre-drill holes where it's needed. The company will replace damaged parts, but you don't want to wait the days or weeks it'll take to get them so be careful! If you have pets that like to chew on things, make sure they don't get ahold of the wood as they WILL destroy the wood very easily. 3. To shorten the build time, one person should get the parts ready for the next step. Looking for the wood pieces and especially the screws, ect. can be time consuming. Also, it helps to write the numbers on the screws, nuts, ect. in bigger writing on the bags they come in to locate them more easily. It WILL save you some time. 4. The screws, bolts, washers, ect. only come with ONE extra of each (or none in some cases) so be prepared to have to take a trip to Lowes, ect. if you lose any or have damaged parts. 5. The roofing pieces and some of the floor pieces are pre-built for you. This is great, but look for any that are not flush when they were put together. We had one pre-built flooring piece in particular that was not flush and thus we had to go to Lowes to get longer bolts than the ones that were provided because the pre-built piece that was not flush made the bolts they came with a little too short. 6. Try to place it on level ground so that the side attachments (monkey bars, swings, rock climbing wall, and slide) are able to be attached easily. 7. It says it in the installation manual, but I wanted to stress this so you save as much time as possible: PAY ATTENTION to the pre-drilled holes in the pieces of wood that have them and make sure they're the same that the manual shows them. This includes the L-Brackets as well. This WILL as you get closer to completion. 8. Take your time and enjoy it, because it is very time consuming. The finished product is worth it! Have fun and I hope your kids enjoy it. :)

I bought this last year and my kids have enjoyed this playset more than words can say. They call it their little house. The rock wall is challenging for the 3 year old and the ladder is perfect for my 2 year old. Both love the slide. Not too fast not too slow. Would recommend an impact gun to put together. Built it in about 50 hours with very little assistance.

overall really impressed. stained it and put together in a few days with a helper. Sturdy as heck and kids love it. Bought the child swing seat too and was a great choice. Tons of extra screws at the end but everything is solid as can be. Slide is super fast for a 2 year old

Our kids have enjoyed this playset so much. My husband had no trouble putting it together by himself with the BILT app. It did take a while but it was worth it! We appreciate how sturdy our playset is and an extra bonus it looks good, too. Not an eyesore! We definitely recommend this product!

Some of the barrel nuts were not threaded correctly and some of the lumber identifications were smudged but overall not a bad install. Prints could've been a bit clearer where some of the pilot holes were on posts, etc. It was hard to tell and a few pieces were put in facing the opposite way. The Kids love it.

We purchased the sky fort 2 yrs ago put it together in 2 days with 3 people. I thought the instructions were good but it would have been great to have 2 sets since one person was laying the lumber out step by step and then the other 2 were putting it together, sharing the instructions was not very fun. I give it 5 stars because it has held up very well and still looks great, we are going to restrain and seal it this year just for good measures
