Very pleased with the play set thus far (completed building it in early April 2023). The written instructions were quite detailed and accurate, however, we often referred to the video to ensure our orientation was correct. The written instructions were not as easy to determine the orientation of the pieces that were to be assembled. Also, and this was a real problem that all four of us who were involved in its construction experienced, and that is the identifying part numbers on the wood. The markings were so poor that we often had to choose our pieces by comparing them to the drawings in the instructions (guesstimate). I would strongly suggest to those responsible for improving the building experience by the consumer to seriously consider improving the markings on the wood. Faded black ink on dark brown wood is not at all easy to read; what's more, some pieces were not stamped at all! On a more positive note, the BILT app was amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I assembled the Skyfort II in June of 2020. It was very hot in North Texas. I did not have any help in the assembly. I have a covered concrete apron adjacent to my home shop. I assembled the center section minus the roof in the shade under the awning. I realized early on in the assembly that I needed to plan two or three pages ahead in order to orient the pieces so that holes in other pieces corresponded later. After assembling the center section, I laid the section on a heavy duty garden wagon and rolled it about 100 feet to a level part of the yard. I stood the center section up and attached the roof pieces. I assembled the legs, monkey bars, ladders, and support brackets under the awning and then moved them into position on either side of the center section. I stood the crossbeam perpendicular to the legs and joined them. I raised the end section and supported the beam on a step ladder. I was then able to make the connection with the center section. On the other end, I laid the legs/ladder flat and attached the monkey bars. To complete the attachment, I again used a step ladder to support the monkey bars while making the connection. All that remained was a relatively simple matter of hanging the swings, slide, ladders, climbing wall, etc. and of course anchoring the swing set. All in all, it was a relatively simple and straight forward project as long as strict attention was paid to the assembly instructions. The instructions were clear and concise. We just finished assembling this playground. It took the better part of 3 days and 3 people (sometimes 4). All pieces are labeled well. It helps to organize before assembling. We had all the “H” pieces in one area in numerical order, “M” in another spot, “F” in another spot and so on. One person read directions, one found pieces and two assembled (when we had 4 people). It’s important to double check that pieces are facing the correct direction so all pre-drilled holes are in the right spots. Boards on their own seems soft and possibly flimsy, but once assembled, it is very sturdy and solid! Can’t wait for my kids to play on it!

I read many many reviews and researched a lot of play sets before deciding to purchase this one. My husband and his dad put this together and used me as a goofer. I went through each box and set out each corresponding piece before building to make sure we had everything. This helped a lot when needing to find the pieces for the next step. This defiantly takes two people and lots of man hours to build. We did a few hours a night over a week and a half. It really helped them to use me as a goofer as well to get the pieces gathered up for the next step and analyze the directions. This saved them a lot of time so they didn't have to get up and down out of the play set and figure out where what went next. The directions are in 3D on a 2D paper. They are very difficult to understand but we managed to get it all together the right way. All in all our children love it and couldn't be happier with our decision to purchase this one.

I bought this last year and my kids have enjoyed this playset more than words can say. They call it their little house. The rock wall is challenging for the 3 year old and the ladder is perfect for my 2 year old. Both love the slide. Not too fast not too slow. Would recommend an impact gun to put together. Built it in about 50 hours with very little assistance.

This was a fun DIY project. The directions were very accurate and all the pieces fit together without having to make any afjustments. When they didn't work it was my fault. It's critical to note the orientation of each piece. The ultimate test- the grandkids won't stop playing on it!

My kids love the playground. It isa good quality playground at a good price. However, it was a beast to put together. My husband could have done it but it would have taken him many days of assembling after work so we paid someone $450 to put it together and it took from sun up to sun down. These guys had put up lots of these exact playgrounds before and it still took an entire day to put it together with 3 experienced guys. I suggest paying someone to assemble this which makes me second guess the price because now I have another $450 into it that I was planning on. But overall, good playground.

After 1 day of use by small children the slide buckled. Customer service is amazing and has promptly reordered the defective parts. This set could be better if the slide was a solid plastic piece or some sort of extra support was available for the weakest area of the slide.

Overall we're very happy with our purchase. I love the way it blends with our wooded setting and the kids LOVE it! That's the main thing. Free shipping was an awesome plus; the same item can be found for less on eBay but once shipping is added the price skyrockets! At times the directions weren't easy to follow. We added extra support to the platform for added safety.
