This is a great set for my children and would highly recommend it to anyone. But with that being said, you have to have a little skill and the right tools to put this thing together, because it makes it alot easier to put together. This set is big and grandma went through all the boxes and labeled each board and organized them with post it notes, wow was that a big help. She knew were each piece was and we laid it all out in the garage prior to assembly. That was a big time saver. It took use about 30 hours to put together in total, that's not including digging the 4 x 4 post and sinking them into concrete because our yard was not level enough, so the back side is about 4 inches off the ground but secured with huge lag bolts to the concreted 4 x 4's. Having the payset level is a must! They include alot of lag screws and having a cordless impact driver made quick work of the big screws, but I was impressed that they went well above just using screws in places where I think they could have gotten off cheaper by just using wood screws. We were missing 1 floor board for the house and it did take a week to get it but we left that out in the middle of the second floor and assembled everything around it and then waited to put the side on until we got it, it should not have taken that long to ship but overall, considering all the pieces, I think they did well. All in all we are very satisfied with this set and had done alot of research on numerous sets before deciding on this one. Also, we bought our set in the store and it was only $1,299.00 not the price they show on line, just FYI.

For the most part we are very satisified with the timeliness of the delivery, the quality of the product and the assembly directions. What we were not happy with was some of the missing screws that we had to replace on our own. In one instance I was told at Lowe's that these are specialty screws, bolts, etc. made specifially for the play set so we had to improvise. That was a hassle.

We've had this about a year. This swingset is a monstrosity to put together, but doable and worth it unless you want to pay $$ to have somebody else do it for you. We have 4 kids, ages 2, 4, 6, 8. They all are able to enjoy lots of things on this. (I wouldn't get this swingset if you only have children younger than 5. Our 2 and 4 year olds are much more adventurous at those ages than our older ones were. Our 2 year old can do the "rocket rider" by himself, but it's because he's trying to keep up with older siblings.) A few hardware pieces were missing, but a quick call to the manufacturer explaining what we needed and they were in the mail and delivered within a few days. Great Customer Service! We painted it with a deck stain that's supposed to last 6 years. The directions say to coat it (or stain it or paint it...I don't remember exactly what it says), but they don't give any specifications as to what kind of product you're supposed to you. They also say to do it every year. We opted to use something that's supposed to last longer than a year so that we don't have to treat it every year. The bottom floor of the clubhouse was not completely flat and we had honeybees move in; fortunately we caught it early and found a bee keeper to come remove them (for free!...plus the kids learned a lot about bees from watching her get them out.) Sooo...a word of caution, make sure the floor is completely flat. Also, we've had spiders build webs in various places, but that's to be expected. Again, just a caution to check periodically and clean them out. Neither of those are problems with the manufacturing or design of the unit. The only thing I would complain about is the screws that are used for screwing in the bottom floor of the clubhouse and for screwing the picnic table top on have rusted to where you could pull up the floor pieces. My husband took all of them out and put in longer wood screws. Some of the screws had broken off just below the head, some were half there, very few were doing their job. We live in an area with a lot of humidity, so that may have contributed; for whatever reason, the screws didn't last long at all. (That's the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.) Overall it's a good investment and the kids have had hours of enjoyment on it in the past year and I foresee them playing on it for many years to come.

We were excited to get this ordered for our grandchildren. We ordered on a Sunday and had it delivered on Thursday - swift delivery! One of the boxes was ripped and one piece of wood was wrecked and the slide had a dimple in it. But one quick phone call and those two pieces were on their way as replacement. The swing set was built over a few weekends, but the instructions were great and assembly went very smoothly. The grandkids are absolutely thrilled with their new swing set and we were very happy with the product.

I just finished putting this set together, and it was relatively easy. I spent almost 21 hours of build time and I had no help. I will caution you that organization is the real key to easy assembly. I spent time organizing the wood into stacks to make picking simple. I also separated the hardware by step - putting all necessary pieces into baggies for each step. During assembly, all I had to do was grab the wood at the top of the page and the bags of hardware I made. I found, unlike some others, the directions very easy to follow and the pictures helpful. I should confess that I read the instructions a couple of times before I started. Two errors in the manual...you must complete step 13 before step 12, and you will have to drill holes in step 88. Also, you should really spend the time sealing the wood before assembly, as the product comes stained, not sealed. Overall, this is an excellent set (especially for the money) that will give my children years of fun. I did have some wood arrive damaged from shipping. The folks at Leisure Time seemed reluctant to replace the pieces (asked for pictures and told me it could be a couple of weeks before my claim was approved/denied). With appropriate prodding from Sam's customer service, I had the wood in 3 days.

Make sure all pieces is separated and accounted for and follow the instructions and everything will go well. Allow yourself an entire weekend with help to put it together. With that being said it was well worth the effort! We had a birthday party the next weekend and it accomadated and entertained 10 kids ages 10-3!!! After looking at many playsets this was the best for the money!! It is very sturdy if put together correctly.

My husband & I bought this for our daughters 2nd birthday and decided to put ut together ourselves. It is a great buy. The details are PARAMOUNT and will make or break you. Be sure to zoom in & check the hole orientation EVERY TIME it will save you time & the headache of undoing and re-doing. We absolutely could NOT have successfully finished this product without the 3D app.

I did a ton of research before buying this swing set and this was by fat the best deal I could find. It did take us two full days to put together which was way longer than I anticipated but the instructions were simple and straightforward. Only negative I have is the swings are kind of close together but it hadn't been a problem. The slide though is not one piece and doesn't seem to be add high of quality add the rest of the set. Great buy all around kids are very happy.

My wife and I bought this around 3 months ago and we JUST were able to finish it (we have 2 small kids, 2 dogs and we both work). We finally just got it done last week and our kids love it. The wood pieces are pretty sturdy and it’s a really beautiful set once it’s completed. My wife and I had so much fun building it. Some screws and bolts were tricky to get in, but if you’ve built anything before you should be able to handle it just fine as it comes with great instructions in the paper copy as well as in the phone app. There are some discrepancies between the two though, I found, so I’d suggest sticking with one or the other (I used the paper copy, call me old-fashioned). I had to put a few of my own screws into some of the thinner boards as I finished and found some screws coming loose. Just some 1” screws will do the trick. I recommend having some on hand. All in all, this is a great play set! And we can’t wait to see our kid’s build memories on what we built with our hands.

I bought this set because it had all the things I wanted (a fort, monkey bars, rock wall, and several swings). It wasn't scheduled to arrive until next week but I was beyond estatic when it arrived early! My husband worked on it a little after work (because I have 4 under 5) and, due to some lingering light, i helped after kids went to bed we had it up in a week. not bad concidering it was essentially 1 person putting it together. Piece of advise would be to sort the pieces as you open the boxes, they are in there any kind of way and don't assume that all of 1 piece is in the same box. My husband tried to jump on it but I hadn't had a chance to sort it out yet and it was kind of a cluster. BUT I sorted it all out and got everything back on track during nap times so we were good to go on day 3 (was a saturday so 1st full day of work). Once you start getting it together and the pieces are orgnaized it really doesn't take that long and goes together smoothly. Also, pay very close attention to the instructions. My husband actually preferred the book to some app he found because apparently they didn't give the exact measurements of spacing and the alignment of the holes. In the long run, I had 5 10 yos, 8yo, 5yo, 4yo, 3yo, 1yo playing on it during a birthday party today and it held up beautifully and they all seemed to have an amazing time. I may end up getting some more boards to close up the other bottom of the picnic area because I really am NOT feeling sand or try to find some other cool use for it... maybe a childs hammock... but GREAT PURCHASE!
