I really like the convenience of the space to not have to manually. Enter work pressure and heart rate. This may seem like a small thing, but it has made it look easier for me to track and sync up with my phone and therefore communicate with my physician how my blood pressure control medication‘s are working.

I bought this roughly a month ago. My doctor wanted me to keep track of my BP readings. When she first requested that I track it, I purchased another brand that also had app integration. Unfortunately, the integration didn't work all that well. When Garmin came out with the BPM monitor, since I was already invested in the Garmin ecosystem, I decided to give it a try. Short story is that I love it. The integration is fast and automatic, and the readings are spot on with what my doctor is taking. Aside from that, it is intuitive, easy to use, and very compact compared to the other options.

Make sure the cuff is seated correctly!! The only issue I had was when the cuff inflated excessively to the point it caused discomfort. This ended up causing an E3 (I think) error which translates to a leak. Repairability is zero. Fortunately, Garmin's return/exchange program is spot on. I like being able to sift through the data via the app.

I like the stats but it needs some improvements in other features like the way the arm band wraps around your arm. The stiff sections separating the soft material make it cumbersome to wrap the band around your arm. I would prefer it to be entirely soft like most other BPMs. Also, the Bluetooth connection does not always connect.

I have been using the monitor for about five weeks now. Setup was quick and easy. I adjusted the cuff only once. It is nice that, after that initial the initial setup and adjustment, the cuff neatly folds into a small package. No tubes or cables. I programmed my user name, paired it and now I take my blood pressure daily in the afternoon. I always use the 3-test function. As a bonus, I now have the date together with all my other health and fitness data in Garmin Connect. I have had and used a handful of Garmin products over the years. This is the most straight forward, well designed one of them all.

I love Garmin devices and have used their watches for years e.g. I love my Epix. I spent 1-2 frustrating hours trying to get the Index BPM to setup. It insisted on looking for a WiFi. I tried this multiple times, even sitting next to the router. I rebooted it, removed it, reset it, retried it. Nothing. It's useless as designed as cannot get past (FWIW I have two computer science degrees and have worked in software industry for many years. Setting up a blood pressure monitor should not be this hard!). Will try again tomorrow morning but current plan is to return it and buy a different monitor from Omron. Really disappointed with the Gramin Index BPM

Tried to like it, worked with support and still cant get it to take a accurate reading. Ran into all the same issues that you'd find with a search. Always reads much higher then actual reading when compared to both another device i own and doctors office. Will be returning the device.

Have taken my BP many times over the past 2 weeks and it is consistently high, like really high. According to it I am constantly having a stroke. I went and compared it to the one at the doctors office and my BP was perfect 121/82. Took my BP with this immediately afterwards (while in the doctors office) and it read 190/145.

I bought this due to my wife having some health issues and wanting to get more consistent BP measurements looking for trends. Having the data in Garmin Connect is helpful. I really like the way the cuff wraps up nice and clean and it is super easy to use.

I tried to wait for this machine to go on sale and the price stays the same!!I understand why now this is a quality unit and I love the graph it give you on the app.I would definitely recommend this unit it compact versatile, and easy to use.Thank for another great product!!
