Makes life easier!

I had some initial problems getting the monitor to link to Connnect but I think that was related to some Bluetooth issues that were resolved. Since then, I absolutely love the monitor! The monitor allows you to keep track of BP readings in Connect. I have been able to see trends that show my BO is higher in the morning compared to evening. Also, you can export a report in pdf, which I sent to my doctor. I have not seen where I can export my weight using the Index scale, which I hope Garmin creates.

Garmin Index Blood Pressure Monitor Easy Use

The Garmin Index BPM Smart Blood Pressure Monitor is an excellent portable Blood Pressure Monitor. Easy to setup, read and transmit results to the Garmin App. Thank You!

Super easy to use

Really like how my tracker, BPM, scales, and even satellite phone are all together in a single app. Makes things easy to see and use. The BPM connected immediately to my phone and learned most of what was needed from existing apps.

Accurate BPM within Garmin Universe

I lead a healthy lifestyle and rely on biometrics to keep me honest (along with a consultation with an MD every year or so). After decades of boring biometrics, I got a blood pressure reading that was a significant outlier to my baseline so I decided to get the Garmin BPM to help me spot meaningful trends. It is an extremely comfortable and intuitive device to use. You can use a single reading or use the 3x setting, which takes three readings spaced one-minute apart to give you an average of the three. The readings automatically appear on my Fenix 7 and in the Garmin Connect app on my phone. One of the best investments in my health I've made recently.

Still on the fence

Extremely hard to get positioned on your arm by yourself. I have had 1 error - E2 which required removing the batteries to clear. Also, in the instruction manual, there is no diagram on how to remove the battery cover. Wifi works good and it's nice the device reports directly to garmin connect for reporting. I will update this review as soon as I can test the accuracy

Good Stuff

I have pretty much 'everything Garmin' from my watch to the scale, BPM ... I love the products! The one and only issue I have with the BPM is 'many' times it will fire up and then countdown to restart again...It's a little frustrating. I compare it with a BPM I already have and the accuracy is pretty spot on.

Great choice for taking Bp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is high tech and takes very accurate readings. It is comfortable to wear and would really help with keeping track of blood pressure.

A good option.

This is a good option for the health conscious person. It can be a little finicky so you have to find the perfect spot but once you find that spot, it should be good. I'd suggest using it on a bare arm (make sure any shirt sleeve isn't constricting or bunching in the armpit area), and getting the cuff good and high, with the bottom of the cuff at least 1-2 finger widths from the crook of the elbow, get it tight but not too tight, and make sure to relax the arm. I've noticed this varies a little from a manual cuff (more systolic than diastolic for some reason) but it's typically in the ballpark, enough to give you a good idea of where you're BP is at. Connection to the app is pretty straightforward and I haven't seen any issues.

Somewhat disappointing

I was excited to switch over to a Garmin BPM. I love my Garmin smartwatch, and I like having all my health info in one place. However, I'm having problems getting consistently accurate readings. I'm not sure if it's the stiff cuff? Anyway, I'm still trying to find the exact arm placement to get good readings. I hope I can get it dialed in.

Not accurate

I have had my Garmin BP for a month. It is not remotely close to being accurate. My BP normally is 118/74 (or close). My readings on this BP are 190/ 100. I would need to go to the ED with that number. I did a double check with my older monitor and the reading was much lower. I am going to need to return this unit. I have several other Garmin devices that I really like, so this was a dissapointment.
