Set up the Index BPM device for myself, works great! Went to add Index BPM device for a secondary user ... the manual says: 1) From the Garmin Connect app on your smartphone, follow the on-screen instructions to invite secondary users. 2) From the secondary user's smartphone, accept the email invitation, and follow the on-screen instructions. So I did those things. Then on the secondary user's phone's Garmin Connect app, I go to the Garmin Devices page, at the top of the page it lists the Index BPM, but at the bottom of the page it has a section that says "Registered to Garmin Connect" along with an entry for the Index BPM along with an enabled push button to "Add Device" ... clicked on that which led to trying to Bluetooth connect the Index BPM to the secondary user's phone. After about 6 failed attempts to Bluetooth Pair the Index BPM to that phone, I call Garmin Support ... turns out you should NOT try to "Add Device" (for the Index BPM) via the Garmin Connect app on the secondary phone. The Bluetooth connection is just for the primary user to configure the device. Turns out, data from the Index BMP is uploaded to Garmin Connect via WiFi. So don't be fooled by the enabled "Add Device" button on the secondary user's Garmin Connect app, just accept the Invite and leave that button alone.

Not worthy of the Garmin name. A disaster as far as BP monitors go. The bp monitor does not synch most of the time with my Garmin Connect app which was the only reason I chose to purchase it. I have re-installed the device three or four times, but it does not work any better. Do not waste your money on this item.

I would give it a one start. This blood pressure doesn't communicate well with software. It also send false information on random times of the early morning . It was very difficult to add my fiancé and retrieve his information, when it did it came with false information. I included the BP false information that send to my connect and my fiancés connect. His was send at 1 am and mine at 5 am neither off us took our blood pressure at those times. I love my garmin devices and was really hope that this BPM would work for us . As I'm trying to come up with a whole body health program for my family. It is disappointing not to be able to get the information needed. It sucks the you don't have a customer service I could talk to . It would be nice to be able to talk to someone that could help with the problem.

The device is ready to use out of the box. Integration with Garmin Connect provides even more flexibility, accuracy and ease of use. I have used several blood pressure monitors over the past few years, and this is the first one that well aligned with the readings from the machine in my doctor's office. This device is easy to sync on my home network. I was unable to sync while on the road and on different networks. However, when I returned to my home network, all the stored readings were uploaded to the Connect app. I may have to do some additional reading for configuration while on the road. Overall, very happy with the performance and recommend it for others.

This was a gift from my stepson in January 2023. I have taken BP measurements every morning since January. Then last week, the device would not upload to my Garmin Connect App. I kept getting Error Code "X". After many tries to get a live person to help me by calling your toll free number, I got first Brigette, then Erick today to solve my problem.

I had a BP cuff that synced to an app on my phone, but it could only show history for 5 days. This one syncs to Garmin Connect on my phone, which I already use for my watch and cycling computer so it's seamless. I appreciate having all by stats in one place, and being able to track my BP over months or even years is great

Been using it for a couple of weeks now and so far so good. The cuff can be a little fiddly to get right but that's a small nit. Where it shines is the interfacing with Garmin Connect. It logs multiple readings a day and denotes the time and BP & HR metrics. There is also the ability to add in personal notes for each instance and all readings are graphed to show if your BP is normal or elevated (numerous stages are sectioned out). Sharing this info is effortless as you can easily send a pdf file to your primary care physician reflecting one day, a week, a month or full year of data. All in all a great little unit. You are paying a premium for the Garmin cachet but I find the overall value aligns with the cost.

I love my Garmin BPM! It is easy to use and compact for travel. The BPM can track multiple people and automatically downloads results to Garmin Connect account. This feature simplifies track vital health info. The multiple BP and averaging results feature is praised by my Doctors. I love my Garmin devices!

This BMP is easy to use and read. I love how it transfers all my results to my Garmin Connect app for tracking and review. My only complaint is that the cuff is difficult to roll up after use. I still haven't figured it out. For now, I just roll up the cuff around the electronics. I would love to see how other owners roll it up. I am sure there is something I am missing on the process.

I bought this about a month ago and so far it has been very helpful. The setup was very easy and accuracy has been good. I have a couple of Garmin products (Index, Fenix, Edge, etc) and love having everything synced on Connect. I am young, competitive, and healthy but also have hypertension, and am using this to monitor trends and track progress. I am not using this as the end-all-be-all medical device, but my experience thus far has proven it to be as accurate as a traditional cuff and pump.
