I am very unhappy with this device. It was indicating I have hypertension. After visiting my doctor and testing the device against their readings my blood pressure is 30 points lower than the device reading. We took multiple readings and used both arms each time the results were wildly inaccurate. I would not recommend this to anyone.

I gave the device 4 stars because I can't get it to connect with my WiFi. It seems to be connected to my phone as the results are displaying on my phone. So I assume it is connected to WiFi. But the red exclamation point indicating a problem still displays on garmin connect

Что понравилось - все данные попадают в Garmin Connect без дополнительных манипуляций. Прибор удобный и компактный. Поддерживает несколько пользователей (как и весы Index). Что хотелось бы дополнительно: нет кейса для хранения и перевозки. Данные о давлении не учитывываются в рекомендациях по тренировкам и здовроью в Connect.

I really love the product, I just keep it by my bedside and use it nightly so I don't forget. It also uploads to my Garmin connect so I can show my doctor when I visit. The only thing I wish they would have done better was make the inside of the cuff a little less smooth so it does not slip when you try to tighten it. When I try to tighten the cuff, it slips, and I have to hold it and because it is on my arm, so a little difficult to do.

I bought this a month ago to travel with and while it is good, I got a few surprises. I did not understand that it must be connected to Wi-Fi to take a reading. I also have a bit of difficulty with adjusting the cuff size because my arm is small. It does serve my purposes because it is easier to pack than a cuff that detaches from the monitor.

I have been using my Garmin Index BP for about two weeks. I really enjoy the automatic updating on the Garmin connect app. More and more I have been using Garmin products to measure stuff. I am 54 and somethings become much more important to overall health (before this age actually). I can no longer ignore elevated blood pressure or weight measurements. I really don't want to start on medication and so have chosen to spend some money on a blood pressure monitor that automatically sends measurements to an app that I've been using for some time. The price is competitive as well. It may be a little bit more expensive than other blood pressure monitors but I feel it was worth it. It is simple to use to get a 3 measurement average in the morning.

I do not suffer from high or low blood pressure since getting myself in shape but as part of my overall fitness regime I have been monitoring my BP for a while now. As an avid Garmin user, this product's launch was timely for me and since I received it, has not failed me. In concert with Garmin Connect, I now have a full history of my BP over a period of time which I can share seamlessly with my Doctor. Awesome product.

I love my Garmin BPM! It is easy to use and compact for travel. The BPM can track multiple people and automatically downloads results to Garmin Connect account. This feature simplifies track vital health info. The multiple BP and averaging results feature is praised by my Doctors. I love my Garmin devices!

It reminds me of my first Garmin product, the Forerunner 210. Clunky, clumsy; short on physical design. It literally fell apart in less than two years. The watch did serve as a great tool to introduce better designs. I am up to the Forerunner 945 and enjoying it. Hopefully Garmin will find a better way to match its computing brilliance with an improved physical design for the monitor. Maybe it won't be necessary to err on the safe side in measurements...

I like the device however, the design of the arm cuff is strange and makes it difficult to get a good fit around the arm. The cuff uses vertical Velcro strips separated with space between them. The strap wraps around a metal bar and then you're supposed to secure the Velcro down. But if your arm size does not fall in between the Velcro straps, you have to bend at the Velcro straps which makes it difficult to get a good fit.
