Reliable

Its great having something that feel like quality in the realm of BP cuffs, as many are just so cheap feeling, etc. Not this one. Love the 3 tests in a row option. Love that it sends results to my Garmin app to track. This is great for anyone looking to track their bp and even in conjunction with their Garmin watch, etc. I have only had it short stroke a reading once

BPM Monitor Has Great Features

I've been using the Garmin Index BPM for about a month. I really like the ability to take three measurements and record the averages. The Wi-Fi link to Garmin Connect is easy to set up and works very well. The only thing I don't like is the way in which the cuff is secured. If you're not careful, you can pinch your skin while you're pulling the cuff snug on your arm. Other BPMs don't share this problem. Just be careful when you snug the cuff or it will certainly elevate your BP when the cuff starts to inflate and pinch your skin.

Awesome tool for tracking BP at home....

Having a regular, constant view of blood pressure is a key aspect of maintaining and improving one's health. Now that's possible with the Garmin Index BPM - this little product is simple to use, integrates seamlessly with all the other stats and info that are already part of the Garmin ecosystem. The Index BPM is easy to use and provides very accurate readings. I've had mine now for about three weeks and at the moment I'm checking my BP twice a day to normalize the readings. The results sync wirelessly over to my Garmin account and the sum total of ALL the data provided by Garmin include not only blood pressure, but also Heart Rate Variability, stress levels, sleep data, training readiness, pulse ox levels, respiration, training intensity, steps, floors, calories - all of it. Love the Index BPM.

Simple and Reliable, Great Build Quality

Like all Garmin products this BP is spot on with being extremely well built and durable. Using it is simple, the interface with Garmin Connect works everytime with no human intervention. And the readings as far as I can tell are accurate and consistent.

Garmin delivers again!

I have my own BP cuff at home. It's merely serves the purpose for measuring BO and pulse. My new Garmin BP monitor integrates the information into Garmin connect which is awesome! I used to enjoy the data I'd receive at the HIGI station at the store because it would track your measurements and enable you to send it'll the information to your PCP. Since the pandemic closed down these stations, I basically stopped paying attention to my BP. Now with this added Garmin Device, I'm able to resume at the convenience of my home. IT's accuracy seems spot on, as it compares to my other test measurements obtained from other BP devices. Garmin delivers again!

Seamless connectivity

I love having Data. While I have my problems with Garmin Connect, I really enjoy having my results be sync'd to my profile where I can track my stats over time, and see a visual representation where my blood pressure is. Honestly, is it worth it? Maybe. You can simply get a regular BP cuff and write your results down, but I like the Index and its features. Build quality is nice. I'm happy with my purchase.

Compact size

I've had this a couple of weeks. I like the compact size which allows me to easily carry it with me. I like the three reading option that gives you an average of your blood pressure. Wish it detected and recorded irregular heart beats but I do like that records everything on Garmin Connect. That makes it convenient so I can share that info with my doctor.

Works well, good data viz.

Works exactly as described -- especially appreciate the high quality data visualization in Garmin Connect. I think there will be a lot of value in having this as historic data for myself. The biggest feature I would add is the ability to measure body temp and include that as well -- that would capture all of the major vitals in the Garmin ecosystem (blood oxygen, pulse, blood pressure, temperature).

Getting use to it

Like that it syncs to Garmin Connect to shows data with all other training activities. Need to do three readings to get an average still trying to understand the variance from 1st to 2nd to 3rd. Otherwise, great way to keep an eye on your blood pressure.

Very helpful.

The Index BP monitor is really easy to use and it syncs beautifully with Garmin Connect. I'm really pleased with its performance. Some reviews said it doesn't do triple averaging--it does very easily. I like that it doesn't have hoses and power cables--I can use it anywhere.
