The best BP monitor I have ever used!

I use the Index BPM every morning. Like all of the Garmin products I use, and I use quite a few, it is faultless. It connects with my WiFi and the Garmin software on my iPhone. The Garmin Connect Mobile app integrates the data with everything else in the system and gives me an excellent perspective on my current health. I have taken it to my doctor's office and checked its accuracy against his unit. It is very accurate. it is easy to use. The batteries last for a good deal of time, and when they are changed it does not affect the settings, so with a new batteries it is ready to start right up. It is expensive compared to other monitors but worth the price.

Simple to use and setup

So much easier to use then my conventional one. Nice and compact and is easy to setvup with Garmin Connect. Cam change user's with touch of a button. I got errors all the time with my old unit from.band being not tight. This adjusts size much better and stays that size so yiu can just slip it on really quick and be done. Glad I bought it. Also can use your HSA.

Additional Users

My wife and I both have Garmin watches and I recently purchased the smart scale along with the BP monitor. We have spent too much time and energy trying to get both of us connected to the BP monitor and still have only one user. The connectivity should not be this difficult and frustrations clearly rise when we try multiple times to no avail. My wife still is not connected and we have given up.

So Far Love This BP Machine! Few Minor Issues

This was a Christmas gift I asked for and so far it is performing really well. The device is often used at night while lying down (I read supposed to be most accurate & meaningful) and it is hard for my index finger to be sure it is on the correct button to start a reading without looking. Getting the unit connected to wifi was a little tricky and Bluetooth went well. I am the only user so I have not tried adding others. So far so good!

As Advertised

We were upgrading from a drug store purchase and wanting to have BP information within GarminConnect. The Index works well with GarminConnect, but we have experienced a few readings that were far too low to be considered accurate. Those readings have left us a bit unsure of accuracy, but hopefully in time it will even out. I would also add that a better cuff design might be warranted. Both my wife and I utilize the Index and changing the cuff size takes more effort than it should.

Difficult to use

I found the Index BPM difficult to use. The adjustable cuff is very stiff causing it to fit tightly at the top of the arm, but very loosely as the arm tapers down. I don't think you can get a reliable measurement with that fit. I tried it multiple days, but in the end returned it.

My wife has white coat syndrome, being able yo consistently track and monitor her blood pressure outside of the clinical environment gives great peace of mind. The seamless synchronization with Garmin connect facilitates easy trending. Very pleased with the purchase.

Excellent BPM

I have using this BPM for more than a month now. It's great and super easy to setup and connect to both wifi and Garmin Connect. It is great to be able to view all my health stats in one place. I purchased the BPM and scale at the same time which makes for seamless monitoring of my health stats. I would have given 5 stars except I have smaller arms and the blood pressure cuff doesn't easily fit so it is a bit cumbersome to adjust on my arm to get a reading. Otherwise I am totally satisfied with my purchase and would recommend to others..

Convenient and portable

After using this Garmin Index for about a month, I can say I'm happy with the purchase. It helps me communicate with my doctor when relaying important health issues when used with the Garmin connect app. 1 deducted 1 star because it can be cumbersome to adjust at times to get a proper fit. Other than that, no complaints.

Easy to set up & use

I ordered this a few weeks ago to track my BP, as I've noticed it's been slowly creeping up over tge years. I also have a Garmin Venu 3s and also a Garmin Smart scale. So I wanted something that could integrate with the Garmin Connect App. The BP monitor was very easy to set up. I can slip it on and take a BP reading and it automatically records it in the Connect app. I really like the way it seamlessly saves the data and provides detailed charts to identify trends. If you need to monitor your blood pressure this is definitely the way to go.
