I bought this mattress because of the Drinkin Bros Podcast. They raved about how great this bed was. So I took the plunge. 1) I'm glad I went with the Pillows, because they are the BEST! 2) the Mattress is a little firmer than I expected. But I've slept through the night for the first time in months. I Love my GhostBed!

First of all, let me say I love my Ghost Bed and it has significantly reduced my back and hip pain that I used to get from my other mattress at night. But the transition was not as seamless as I thought it would be. Having slept on a memory foam pillow for decades, I thought transitioning to a Ghost Bed would be easy peasy. Memory foam pillows cured my intense neck pain, and I know what they are like: weirdly hard/firm, but somehow contouring, and they can sleep hot, plus there is no "bounce" or pillowy feel to them. I know all that, and was sleeping on a Sealy mattress that was causing me pain. I had to take a 12-hour pain reliever before bed to sleep more than 5 hours a night without waking up in pain. Yet when I git my Ghost Bed it felt so weird -it freaked me out. I am 5' 10" and I am heavy. Went I sat on the mattress, I felt like it was creating this big bowl and I was at the bottom. I thought, "Oh my god, I am too heavy for this mattress and it is clearly way too soft for me!" Yet laying on it I fwlt suppoemrted and good. But when I was laying on it, it would feel unyielding...I worred it was too hard! The first week my back muscles were sore...like they were being streched out (which they were), and that made me nervous. But for the 1st time in years, I cpuld sleep on my back necasue the mattress cradled and supported me so well. Ibwas feeling great, and sleepi g really well after 3 weeks...but the weirdness of the Ghost Bed, compared to a tradational mattress, still freaked me out. Then vame the nigjt I slept away from home on a regular mattress again. It felt terrible! It litterally felt like the tension and springs were trying to push me up, and offn the bed. Contact points were painful and I missed the feel of my bed cradling and supporting my body and pressure points. I am a total convert and never going back.

The mattresses has exceeded my expectations, for comfort, ease of set up, delivery, the hurricane package deal was exceptional bargain. I have been searching for a mattress for a long time, having had lower back, cervical fusion surgery in the past, new mattress purchase is a terrifying event. Will it give me the support i need, will it be firm enough, etc. Well hands down it delivered all the things i needed. This mattress was purchased 2 weeks after a second lower back surgery for herniated disc, so there is no more sensitive back then mine. Tipping point for me about buying a mattress on line for me was a recommend rating on consumer reports as well. thanks for the great bed, pillows and mattress cover. Daniel

After 15 years, and 2 different Sleep Number beds, my husband and I knew we needed a major change for our backs, hips, and sleeping patterns. We were tossing and turning, aching when we'd rise, and not able to sleep full nights in our old bed. After lots of research we choose Ghostbed. The price was affordable, it was an inch thicker than most of the competitor mattresses, and it supports a great deal more weight than other foam beds. (Check their FAQ page for specific information.) Setting up the mattress was a piece of cake and sleeping in it is heavenly. I love that this mattress is supportive without giving that dreaded "stuck in a hole" feeling. No more restless souls in this king size bed! Also, we received 3 free Ghost Pillows with our mattress order. I must say, we were skeptical about memory foam pillows. We had yet to find a comfortable, cool, and non-neck bending brand. BUT...along came our Ghost Pillows and they were a dream. Soft, supportive, and cool. We allowed our 2 girls to try them. They're in middle school and high school and they loved them so much that we ended up ordering two more for our household. (It was a buy 1 get 1 free offer.) I can't stress enough how good it feels to have a restful night of sleep and no more aches and pains when we get up. And...I'm comfortable sleeping in all positions on this mattress and pillow. In fact, I'm typing this review while still snuggled up in my bed. Aaahhh! It's going to be a great day!

We have had our GhostBed Queen Mattress for 2 weeks as of this review. I purchased the GhostBed after researching MANY other mattresses and being very close to purchasing a different brand. My wife suggested I look into GhostBed. Within 2 days of receiving our mattress, the back problems and foot pain that inhad been experiencing for the past 2 years were GONE. Since then I have noticed that I am sleeping more soundly and waking up feeling more rested. You will absolutely not be disappointed.

The bed is very firm and high quality. I bought it for my daughter but it is really nice for someone with lower back pain so I sneak in to get my nap on her bed:) She also said she can’t stop sleeping on it because it’s so comfy. And another important factor that hasn’t disappointed us is that this bed doesn’t get hot at all despite being a foam mattress. We’re considering to replace our current mattress with Ghost bed mattress soon.

The ordering process and delivery process was super simple. The mattress arrived in a large box and the ghost pillows arrived in a separate box. Both arrived at the same time. Packaging was excellent and beautiful. Opening the boxes was lots of fun and watching the mattress take form was awesome. Sleeping is comfortable on this bed, but can get somewhat warm. No body aches or hard pressure is felt while sleeping and I can sleep in the same position all night. The only thing is that the cooling gel technology only keeps your body cool for so long and body heat may get trapped. Maybe light blankets should be used instead of medium comforters.

I have a herniated disc and most beds I wake up super sore but with the ghost bed I wake up pain free and refreshed. I highly recommend this bed to anyone who has back pain or just wants a great night sleep. It goes very nice with our custom made log bed

We enjoy our new mattress so much! Our backs are no longer sore in the morning. I don't get moved around when my husband rolls over, most times we don't even notice when one of us has gotten out of bed. I believe it has helped with my husband's snoring as well or it just may be that I am too sound asleep to hear him. Either way, it is a win! I really wish we would have purchased these sooner. If you like firm mattresses, then this one is definitely for you! My husband has back problems which have been an issue for years. After sleeping on this mattress for a month he has seen a vast improvement. I normally take about 30 minutes to fall asleep, on this mattress I fall asleep within 10 minutes of laying down. I dream so much more when I sleep now, this was never the case on my old mattress. My old pillow top was really comfortable, soft, and I liked it, but I kept sinking down and having to roll out of a hole. No issues with sinking down on this mattress. I would absolutely recommend that you give this mattress a try. It came wrapped air tight and with a free large t-shirt.
