The website says Skylight syncs with Cozi which is only sort of true. You can’t easily upload all members of the family with one click because then they all get assigned one color. The workaround is you have to individually load each member of the family, which takes quite a bit of time. Then you have to assign them colors as their cozi calendar colors do not sync either. Lastly, when you try to delete a calendar or a category within a calendar Skylight forces you to reassign all of the events listed under that calendar to a different person. This literally defeats the purpose of deleting the calendar and all of its events. The support person told me twice there is absolutely no workaround and in order to delete a calendar you have to reassign the events first.

We had some pretty good systems set up at home already but I was excited to have them digitally, all in one place, and the ability to eliminate having to transcribe my phone calendar to a wall calendar each month. But the functionality of the different skylight components is not a robust as I had expected for the price. A lot of the systems we used at home don’t crossover and are pretty basic on the skylight. If you don’t have any systems in place already, this is a good place to start!

With my spouse deployed, skylight calendar has helped immensely keeping us organized. One of my favorite features is the lists. Everything updates in real time and my kids can add something to the grocery list, so I can pick it up on my way home from work.

I have always been a pen to paper organizer. I came across the Skylight on Tiktok and immediately knew I wanted to try it for my family. I must say this is one of the best purchases I ever made. It allows my family to stay organize and my 10-year-old daughter loves the how the Chores list work. I would definitely recommend this for any family

I wish it had a battery option staying plugged in can get frustrating. Also I wish it would sync to my Google photos account instead of me having to upload everything. It is nice but I think having just a regular tablet dedicated to this would be easier and still have other tablet features...

This thing does pretty much everything I wanted to do, and then a little more. I love how it synchronizes with multiple email/calendar providers, including Outlook and Google. And I didn't realize that my wife and I could make good use of the chores functionality, but we have. My only two complaints are that it could do a little bit better and going into power saver mode, and waking up when motion is detected in the room or via touch... And I'm not fond of the subscription model for displaying photos.

This thing is pretty cool! I had this thing up and running within 15 minutes. It’s got intuitive features that makes it super easy to learn. We wish we would have gone with the bigger one just for size purposes. The 15” meets our needs just looks small in the area we put it. I absolutely love that it doubles as an electronic photo frame!

I have been looking for a digital calendar for a while but nothing that I found worked how I envisioned it to work. Then the skylight calendar popped up on my Instagram and I was convinced this is exactly what I was looking for. I have had it about 2 weeks how and love it. Everyone in the house knows what is happening for the week. We are a family of 5 with 3 kids with multiple activities a week. Theye kids are doing chores to be able to check off the boxes which makes life a little less chaotic. I also started to use the meal planner which is great because then they can see what the plan is for the week. If your on the fence... Just do it ...you won't be disappointed.

I love the Skylight for the Calendar Consolidation access it offers as a Mom of three it really helps me to stay organized with appointments and events. So I have zero complaints there. My big complaint is the chore chart. It is a pain to me to add chores to it. I thought maybe it might be easier to set up through the website but unfortunately you don't have access to the chore chart section and can only do it through the app or on the device itself. To me this is tedious especially considering there isn't some already pre-made options like there are with the grocery list. It's not like I'm out of touch with technology either, I'm a Millennial, if I don't understand something technology wise then I will google or youtube it. I would equate adding these on the app or device to T9 texting. Is it impossible? NO. But is it a huge inconvenience and takes forever to do? YES

I wish I bought this when my kids were born! Keeping track of everyone's schedule (doctors visits, picture days, baseball games, etc) and being able to edit dates on my phone and it updates on the unit in real time has been impressive and invaluable. My kids love the chore chart and we also use it as a way to keep track of vitamin taking. It truly takes the "guessing" out of my day. I also love the slideshow of pictures that play on the high quality screen, it looks like a bright and beautiful picture frame. 10/10 Recommend
