We are super busy, but we also realized things are always changing! Before Skylight we had a large hand written calendar hanging in our home, manual changes mid month were a nightmare! Now everything is seamless and real time so we can keep up with our daily duties! Our kids are also loving their digital chore charts!

The whole family took to the calendar very quickly - we didn't know what we were missing. Far easier than trying to tell everyone to look at the calendar on their phones. Now they know what's going on that day, what's for dinner and what their chores are without having to look in 10 places (though it doesn't mean that they'll actually do their chores). The only thing I would improve is the ability to customize the calendar display more (like a week view but only 4 days so you can see more of each day - but not as zoomed in as the schedule view).

This is marketed as a tool for families. However the calendar displayed is a master calendar. There is no way to select a sickle single user and see their calendar. So my son will never see his dentist appointment amidst the chaos of my work/yoga/social calendar. Also tasks only show up on the day they are due. So if you have the world ending tomorrow but look at tasks for today you see zero tasks. This does not help teach kids to track longterm due dates or manage their time. Overall I was very excited about this product and ultimately very disappointed

It worked great until we lost power and now the skylight will not sync with my outlook calendar. I've set up chores and that still works so I don't want to do a reset and lose all of that. The pictures won't stay connected to the frame either. I was so excited but ended up very disappointed in the product.

I love how user friendly the set up is. My husband and my phone calendar seamlessly synced with set up and each family member has their own color so we can easily see who's doing what on that day. My only disappointment is the chore set up and grocery list. They are very basic and you can't drag and drop to organize into categories (dairy, produce etc) so as you add items to the list they are all over the place which makes it harder when in the store.

We use to have a dry erase board and would update on a monthly basis. Inevitably something would get left off that was added after the board was filled out. The Skylight calendar has been great as it only takes a second to make a new item for whenever it occurs. The different colors for the different family members is a great visual of who has what going on. This has been perfect for our busy family

We have always had a family calendar in the kitchen for quick reference. It's nice that we don't have to copy each event onto a paper calendar like we did in the past. The grocery list is also a bonus - love having that available at the store. - I think we enjoy Skylight the most for the family images that get displayed with the screen saver. It is fun to come home from a family event and to see images from that trip greeting us when we open the door.

I love to visual of the schedule but have had trouble with the date/time selection auto generating or changing. I had to re-enter one event 4 times because it kept automatically changing the time and then date. This glitch has resulted in a few schedule errors with appts which has been stressful and makes me nervous about other entries. I have been very careful when entering the info and watch is change :/

Just generally disappointed in this Skylight Calendar. On the plus side, I like the sharp, crisp display and the Cozi integration, so all can see the family schedule. On the negative side, there is no automatic sleep mode, so you can't have it sleep after 5min of no activity, for example. Seems like such a basic function! It didn't bring over the color-coded users in Cozi so had to recreate those. It doesn't like events on Cozi with multiple attendees - it only allows one primary, unless you create a new ‘combo' user and then manually assign it. I guess I had high expectations, and this failed to completely deliver.

Setting this up is VERY time consuming! I got this to make scheduling easier for my family, but the directions are a 30+ page manual online and you need a computer to synch up your email/phone calendar to the skylight. Im looking into returning mine bc it's just being used as a picture frame. It might be great for tech savvy people, but it's just not for me.
