As a mom who was elected against my will to be the keeper of all plans I love this calendar! Once I got the hang of it, it is so easy to add activity's and appointments to the calendar (colored coded even…heck yeah!) and my husband and kids can just check the calendar for plans instead of asking me 47 times :) the photo addition is awesome too.

This was a gift to my son and his wife and apparently due to a softwear glitch, I cannot see the photos my son and his wife post. I can only see the photos I send to them. The rest of the family has a Skylight frame and we all share and can see everyones photos. My son and his wife have the Calendar and we cannot see their photos -Very very disappointing.

Overall the product works fairly well, displays calendar and to do list in an attractive and user friendly manner. If you want to be able to actually use the product as advertised you'll have to pay the monthly subscription. I wouldn't recommend it to a friend for this reason. I think that's a poor way to sell a product.

The whole family took to the calendar very quickly - we didn't know what we were missing. Far easier than trying to tell everyone to look at the calendar on their phones. Now they know what's going on that day, what's for dinner and what their chores are without having to look in 10 places (though it doesn't mean that they'll actually do their chores). The only thing I would improve is the ability to customize the calendar display more (like a week view but only 4 days so you can see more of each day - but not as zoomed in as the schedule view).

We love our Skylight Calendar. Not only has it been a refreshing way to connect with my husband but when our kids and grand kids come to visit they can't help but notice when the photos of our family are scrolling and it gives a natural opportunity to have a discussion about all of its features and the benefit of finding a positive way to communicate and keep in synch.

I think it's awesome. There are so many features on it. I wish scheduling was a little more expansive. The recipe book is awesome. We've already uploaded a lot of things. We especially love that it also seconds as a digital picture frame! We love seeing all our photos. The tasks section is awesome! We are all learning how to stay on a schedule for household chores/routines.

The Skylight calendar has only partially resolved our challenge of collecting info from multiple schedules into a master plan. I don't want every entry from my work calendar to be visible on Skylight. (That works.) Sometimes a family member creates a Skylight entry which I need to incorporate into my work schedule— but the info does not automatically propagate to my work calendar. I still need to look in multiple places to ensure that I'm not double-booking myself.

I doesn't sync as reliably or easily as I thought it would. First sync with an iPhone calendar went fine but now it has stopped updating for some reason. My wife's Samsung Android was impossible to sync. Had to move to using a completely different calendar to get it to work

This frame has literally been life changing! My four kids are obsessed with checking off their tasks each day and earning stars. I thought they might fall off after a week or two but we are almost two months in and holding strong. Mom loves the calendar! It's been so helpful for all of us to be on the same page about the schedule.

I bought this to organize my husband's and my busy schedules. I was using the Google calendar app and he was using a print calendar. I was having to enter everything twice which often didn't happen so we ended up with event conflicts. The Skylight resolves that issue but I have noticed some quirks. If I enter an event and later need to change the date or time, Skylight won't accept the change but keeps reverting back to the original date and time forcing me to delete the event and reenter it. Quirk #2 is that if you use the weekly view, the month does not appear anywhere or at least not in any prominently visible location. Quirk #3 is just a personal preference for color coding events. Skylight offers color coding however some of the similar colors (i.e. two purple, two greens, two orangey, etc.) are so similar that you can't tell them apart on the screen. I believe/hope these are quirks that can/will be worked out in future updates.
