We'd been experiencing significant sag in our 5 year old spring mattress and first replaced with a hybrid purchased online. I've had back pain for months and it just got worse with the new mattress. I thought the pain might be more than a mattress alone could fix, but still decided to return it and replace with the more expensive Tempurpedic Hybrid. My back pain was gone within 2 days and has not returned. I didn't know that was possible and I'm now officially a Tempurpedic convert. The mattress did at first feel quite a bit firmer than the store one we laid on, but it has softened up a lot in the first few weeks.

Talk to a sleep Expert." They refused to help me other than to tell me to call the mattress store since i did not buy the mattress direct from Tempurpedic. When one spends a lot of money to buy an expensive mattress, one would want to try it out first and you can't do that by ordering it directly from the manufcturer, I would think. I think I got the run around from Tempurpedic. I spent a lot of money for an expensive mattress and they only were willing to talk about if there was a factory defect. A back problem was a "comfort" issue and I was told to call the mattress store. I don't know if it was coincidental with the purchase of the Tempurpedic mattress. But despite giving a phone number to call for help, I felt that they blew me off. Things you love about it: Nothing Things you don't love about it: I spent a lot of money to get a superior mattress, and I don't know if it is contributing to my back problem or not, but Tempurpedic in my opinion is giving me no useful help.

I have arthritis and this mattress helps alleviate the pressure on my hips and knees. I was worried about the mattress holding heat, but it doesn't. It took about a month to get used to it, but I don't think I'll ever go back to a traditional mattress.

This product, for me is the ideal firmness. I've found myself over the years trying to buy the most firm pillows I could find, so when I bought my mattress, I also looked for as firm as I could find. But, some were too firm. My medium adapt tempurpedic is the ideal firmness for me. Firm, but you can still feel the cushion when you lie down. Would totally recommend to anybody, also bought a new tempurpedic adapt pillow with cooling technology (hi) for my fiancé and i, and we love the pillows too! Worth every penny.

First I have to say is that it is a good mattress and my wife loves it. Unfortunately my back and hips are killing me. My wife is normal height and weight, but I'm 6' 3" and weigh 250 so maybe I'm the problem. What I would like to do is switch to a medium non hybrid and see if that fixes the problem since the wife Loves the bed, but as you know you can only change one time ( and I understand why) I am going to have to switch to a non hybrid firm mattress because my back can't take another mattress like this. On the plus side since I got this mattress I get up before 5 every morning (because of the pain) and have been able to get to work before every one else I guess if I had to make a recommendation I would have to say go ahead purchase a tempurpedic mattress but don't buy the hybrid if your a bigger person the springs won't support you properly.

My wife loves the bed but she's having problems also. For me I wake up every morning and it feels like my lungs hurt and my back hurts. I'm not liking as bad at all. Hopefully with the 30 day thing it gets better but as of right now I am not getting a good nights sleep, or waking up feeling refreshed.

Excellent sleeping experience. I was having difficulty sleeping with my old foam mattress (it wasn't a Temp-P) & with the new Temp-O mattress, I sleep so much better. So far, I love this mattress & can't imagine a better one. It's the entry level mattress too.

When I tried lying down on the bed at the store and I was not so sure whether this type of bed is good for me or not, but I tried it after delivery of the product for a week, Tempur-Adapt Medium is just the right firmness for my body, especially on my back. I am happy about purchasing the mattress.

I liked the mattress and found it very comfortable. My husband didnt like it and didnt sleep well on it. I'm hoping he will adjust to the feel of it and sleep well after a few more nights. If not, I hope I can return it during the 90 day trial period.
