The watch is helping motivate me towards lowering my heart rate and shortening my recovery rate. It is helpful knowing my sleep score and finding ways for improving it. I am encouraged that my heart rate is improving (lowering) and recovering from intensive exercise. Overall, the information from this watch has motivated me to increasing my physical activity as well as taking a rest day when my overall recovery can benefit from relaxation. The watch is easy to figure out in terms of setting activities to reading the scores.

I’ve had the Vivoactive 5 for a few weeks now, and it’s truly been a game changer! It’s not only motivated me to stay active, but—more importantly—helped me prioritize getting enough sleep. I’m still discovering new features, and I love how user-friendly it is.

I received this as a Mother’s Day gift since I am super active and my Apple Watch was dying before the end of the day. I’m able to go almost a full week on one full battery charge. So I’m able to track my sleep and daily activity at ease. I love the breakdown information garmin gives about my workouts. It’s definitely worth every penny.

My new Vivoactive 5 replaced a Vivoactive 4 I had for many years. I was so pleased with the incredibly easy set up and data transfer processes. I love all the new features with this new watch, especially the ability to track HRV and VO2. Aesthetically, the dial is SO much easier to read and the wrist band is a significant improvement over the previous version being more flexible and comfortable.

I have always loved my Garmin watches and I was hesitant to upgrade from the 4S to the 5. I personally love that the watch face is larger than the 4S. Easy to us, love all the different features and I feel like all the tracking features are very accurate.

VIVOACTIVE5 Step count is not accurate! I think it counts every move I make as a step.... Sleep score/time is not accurate....I could just be in bed and it counts as "sleeping". Other features maybe ok but didn't use much. I hope I can return it and get a different one. Otherwise, never again this brand.

Bought Garmin specifically for Body Battery information. Only 1 month in and still learning all possibilities of tracking - Sleep and Body Battery info very informative. Syncing with MyFitnessPal and seems seem less thus far. Would purchase again.

I have had this watch for a little over a year. It has been serviceable at best. Recently whenever I charge the watch, I will have to power it off and back on for it to register any activity once I put it back on my wrist. Disappointing for a watch I had high hopes for.

This watch was an exchange after my Vivoactive 4s died. It is not as responsive as the 4s. I find myself having to tap the screen to see the time, whereas the 4s was responsive to just the movement on my wrist. The crystal also seems thinner. I already have a chip in it. Overall, I preferred the 4s.

I thought I would miss my Vivoactive 3 after the battery ran out, but the 5 is OUTSTANDING!! The sleep monitor is better, the ease of use is so much better than my Forerunner that replaced the 3. It is so much easier to use than any other of my Garmin devices and much more enjoyable and simpler to use and attractive. The only reason I can’t give it a 5 star is that you dont know how to add apps and activities out of the box until you get the excellent “ thank you for registering “ from Garmin!! The instructions in the box are woefully inadequate.
