I bought this almost 2 months ago and had it in my garage until the deck was finished to bolt it onto my deck. It finally was built and I LOVE it!!! It is such a sturdy piece and great quality! It took 2 days to put up with 2-3 people working on it, with my husband on top of the roof at times, so if you are less mobile, I would recommend paying the extra to have it built.

I did a lot of online research before buying the Backyard Discovery gazebo. I was very happy with my choice. It is very good quality and had a good price compared to others on the market. It did take much longer to assemble than described and you really need 3 adults most of the time.

Had it installed. I would have given it 5 stars if it was a little less expensive. The guys who installed it saw a few shipping damage on the materials and called in for the replacement parts. When the replacement was delivered they came back to install the gazebo. Done in 4 hours! Love it!!!

We ordered the Gazebo and to our delight it arrived much sooner than expected. The customer service has been excellent and the Gazebo is fantastic. It looks exactly like the pictures and is very good quality. I highly recommend using the BILT app to assist in assembly. It makes the steps much easier to conceptualize and go faster.

Well engineered. Instructions are good and the video instructions are exceptional. It begins with a thorough "run through" and study in order to understand the most important aspects of assembly. The key is to know that you are level and as assembling, that you remain plumb. This is essential if you want the unit to come together as intended and designed. The most difficult is getting the roof sections on top safely...as they are both heavy and awkward even for two people. We clamped 3 2X4X16s to the stringer at the top and level with where the roof needed to be able to slide into place and with these set at the exact angle of the roof pitch, we simply slid them up and into place. The hardware is exceptionally well thought out and high quality...be careful with torque as this is important to the longevity of the structure. We added additional over hang on the front and back to serve the same purpose as the roof overhang. And we added drip edge where the roof meets the outside of the frame in order to avoid water dripping inside the gazebo to take full advantage of the interior space being waterproof. Additionally, we added top and bottom grommeted outdoor waterproof curtains that slide top and bottom on basic metal galvanized electrical conduit pipe...least expensive and very substantial without any bowing...the curtains are tied to the four posts when not in use and simply pull to enclose when facing acclimate weather. This way upholstered furniture remains dry and protected. We added additional lights...both interior on a dimmer and three attractive outdoor lanterns as well. The result is very attractive and user friendly.

We bought this to give us a little shade from the summer heat and to have an outdoor place to hang out with our friends and family. It looks sturdy and looks very nice on our porch. My only issue was we paid for this to be installed and had a lot of screws and pieces left after he was finished. So maybe you might want to find someone else for the install. other than that we love it !

It is beautiful. The company is quick to respond and send replacement pieces. The roof is heavy to lift. We need 4 adults since some of us are not that tall. We took our time to assemble and make sure everything is plum and square. Even that we had to untighten some bolts to make sure some pieces fit in nicely. We noticed after finishing the gazebo that some pieces had filled holes and painted over with stain. By that time it is too late to replace the piece. Overall we are happy with the product.

We are in love with our new purchase. We paid for the installation through Sams. That was the best thing we did, they were very attentive and organized everything. They let us know when everything would arrive and scheduled installation to fit our schedule. Gazebo is beautiful and well constructed, we are in love.

I was very pleased with the quality of our new gazebo! Delivery was right on time. When the assemblers arrived they went right to work, They were quite efficient and completed it in 21/2 hours from when they arrived. the only drawback was the time it took to apply the waterproof sealant. Several long afternoons. I would not hesitate to recommend this item to anyone considering it.

My only "beef" with this is 2 of the cedar boards came to us cracked (we had to nail them back together) and the cedar boards which hold the top ridge together were very warped (I had to join them with c-clamps). Instructions were good & simple to follow.
