Did I mention I absolutely LOVE this gazebo! My spouse and I assembled this ourselves. It took 1and a half day to put together. We started as soon as it was delivered at 8 a.m. and had the frame up by 12 p.m. It was gut wrenching hot so we waited for the next morning to put the roof on. For our first DIY it was super easy and fun to put together.. We did run into a few hit or miss spots because the Mr. overlooked the predrilled holes. After the first mistake and a correction. We learned from it and it was a breeze from there on out. The roof almost killed us..lol! It was only he and I to put it on and it was a funny challenge so I suggest getting someone else to help and make sure they are a strong male! All in all, I'm glad we saved the assembly fee. This gazebo is SUPER gorgeous. Pictures of it seems so unreal how beautiful it is. A fan, tv, and lighting are going to be added very soon.

I recommend that you have a die/tap set to remove the paint from the barrels and bolts, other wise they cross thread. It will take you more then 9 hours to complete, me and my neighbor 3 days. We also had to use a 7/16 bit to enlarge the holes for the bolts and barrels to matchup. I would recommend calling the number on the box for installation, if you have no carpentry skills.

This came in six boxes on a pallet about 7 months ago. My wife and I put it together in our shed and the moved it out side to the footings. Everything was well packaged. Most importantly all the pieces were there and in pristine condition. There are probably 20 bags of fasteners with small black identification/part numbers on them. Take a red or purple sharpie and write the last three numbers in red, large enough to easily be seen. This made assembly go so much quicker. Otherwise you are searching for the black ink on clear bags containing black parts. We were amazed how easily the assembly went. Almost all the holes and hardware line up perfectly. We have done some remodeling work in the past but we are far from being experts and we had no issues.

I bought this in 2019 and it has held up really well! This year, we needed to touch up the paint on some of the lower areas that are more exposed to the elements. I was having trouble finding the right color at my local big box stores (we didn't want to have to repaint the entire thing). A reddit post suggested reaching out to customer service at Backyard Discovery (the manufacturer) and, lo and behold, they emailed me a paint code to take to Home Depot to get a can of color matched stain!!! AMAZING! Highly recommend this product and the company that makes them!

We bought this and paid for the assembly last summer, we had it set up on our already established concrete pad. Assembly was great and we paid an extra 100$ to have it screwed into the concrete!! We live in a very windy area and this thing has survive 89 mph gusts of wind and 30.9 inches of snow and didn’t even bat an eye!! So glad we purchased this!! I don’t know of many more products that would survive!

First...this is not a pull from the box and just put it together. I found many areas of the instructions I had to improvise. Some of the lag bolts end up cross threading. Thank goodness they provide extra hardware. Everything went along smooth for the most part till I got to the roof. This was a four person job for me. The roof is very heavy once assembled. Next comes lining everything up. Once the roof is in place it's hard to move. After some more improvising, I got it all connected. Lastly was the rain guard at the very top. It is very difficult to get all those screw in without actually being on the roof. I got it attached but it wasnt easy. Bottom line, if you're not used to improvising, pay the extra money and have it installed for you. This took me 2 full days to assemble.
