DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ive had trouble with multiple apps not working including amazon prime all the way up until today. ive been fed up with this tv for awhile now. constantly just turning off, all around complete dissapointment. i wound up having to buy a firestick for a samsung 4k smart tv because the apps werent working properly. pretty pathetic for a “top dollar” company. like many other reviews ive read the tipping point for me was this random 8 inch black line that appeared on the right hand part of the tv. weve had it for 18 months, just like the other reviews said. whats pathetic is that ive had many many other tvs that werent house hold name brand that worked for me better in every sense of the word.

Most trouble out of any TV I've ever had.

in 9 months this tv has had 2 catastrophic issues requiring in home repairs. i wish i had never bought this tv. first issue it was just flashing on and off in a loop. now, half my screen is just flat dead. i wish i could get my money back tbh. just a bedroom tv turned into the biggest headache. if it worked well, it'd be a decent tv.

Low Budget TV

I am not pleased with this tv purchase. I purchased this tv strictly for streaming and I am disappointed with the basic features and it only has wifi for 2.4G. How can Samsung release a 2018 tv with dinosaur features? They are really half stepping with there tv‘s.

dont use it with wifi

1. it does not suport 5GHZ 2. when its turned off, and you turn it back on it either does not recobnnect at all or you have to wait between 4 to 10 minutes for it to find its DNS 3. tried all the DNS samsung provided (8888 and 8844) and it just does not worj

Worst TV i've ever owned

you really get what you pay for, buying a samsung tv i assumed i'd be getting quality even at the lower price point, boy was i wrong!!! apps crash all the time and when they are working 70% of the time i get digital artifacts and frames freezing for example when watching youtube videos in the app, it gets so bad that within 5 minutes it's unwatchable and have to reboot the tv. this doesn't come with the one remote like previous samsung tvs i've owned from years ago but uses an old janky remote with a thousand buttons. completely regret this purchase!

Complete Waste of Money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] bought this tv for bedroom 3 months ago. we have had multiple issues with it. here are just a few: - smarthub is pitiful. lag after pressing the remote and between switching apps is 1-2 secs. the software is updated and i frequently reset the unit which sometimes works. mostly, the problem persists. you would think this tv was from 20 years ago. - when loading a video (from amazon for example), the video fails to load. occurs about half the time. forced to reset the tv. - the picture quality is the biggest problem. it is worse than my 1080p. i can go on and on about the picture problems but in short, it is poor in every category. tried playing with the settings but no luck. i am going to see if samsung can fix these problems but i have a feeling this is a problem with this model.

Sound and power button

I bought this tv in Feb 2018, six months after I started having problems with the sound. When I initially turned on the tv, the sounds would 'pulse' and then mute. Once I change the channel, the sound comes back. This would happen every time I turn on the TV. Then eight months later the power button on the turn just broke off the TV. I've contacted customer service on this matter. I was told the power button breaking was my fault and for the sound problem, they have me to reset the TV. About three days after resetting the TV, the sounds now 'mutes' and comes back within seconds.
