So far I have nothing to complain about... As you can see from the pics, transporting the gazebo was fairly simple. I'm sure you know by now from reading the other posts, the boxes are heavy. But that's whatcha want with this kind of purchase. Anyway, I've not built the structure yet. I am in the process of sanding each piece then staining it. To better match the deck stain. I will update as I go (when I can).

We bought this as an affordable alternative to putting a roof over our deck, and it is basically the greatest thing ever. It was a pain in the butt to assemble (4 people over two days) but it was totally worth it. We’ve been practically living under it ever since!

Because of price issues and problems with the freight company I almost gave up on this item, but I am so glad I didn't. This is an absolutely gorgeous gazebo made of high quality material. We had problems with the pricing. We paid $1899.00, that included freight shipping without assembly. The next day I could have ordered it for $1799.00. The freight company gave us some problems regarding delivery but the manufacturer, Backyard Discovery, stayed in touch and after about 10 days we worked it out. I had it assembled by Go Configure and everything about assembly was perfect. Lots of communication and prompt on time clean professional service. It took one person about 6 hours to assemble. Which I could not believe. The Gazebo itself is beautiful and sturdy and large. I am amazed at the quality for the price. The configuration of the electrical outlets is so clever and well done. There were a few scratches on a few of the wood pieces because the freight company took the boxes off the pallet, but Backyard Discovery sent me stain that, of course, matched perfectly and those scratches are invisible. I cannot say enough good things about Backyard Discovery or about this Gazebo. I would have loved to save the hundred dollars but that's on Sam's not Backyard Discovery. Even at the higher price l am not disappointed

We bought this a month ago and the pavilion is a A+ product. I have added some constructive ideas on both gable sides to keep out the rain. And we lucked out where the roof meets right up to our gutter on the side that meets up to our sunroom. PS. No more rag tops to replace every 4 years. Love the metal roof on this bad mama jama.

We always bought the metal gazebo's with canvas canopies but wanted to buy something that would not need to be taken down in the fall and put back up in the spring! This was NOT the gazebo to buy! It is so poorly engineered, NOTHING lines up properly, screws are stripped, roof panels did not fit properly! The wood is sturdy, but extremely heavy and awkward to assemble. With all of the openings, this will not keep the rain off of our furniture as well as the canvas gazebo! So sorry we made this purchase!!!

I took advantage of the special 1 day sale they had they featured this gazebo for $ 1299.00. I gotta say it’s worth it. It looks incredible in my back yard all my neighbors are coming out and quiver with envy. I wish I can show off a pix on here totally satisfied

Found this item on sale for $1299, Sam’s used a forklift and loaded it in the back of my truck. Completed this project mostly by myself, I had to grab my neighbor on two occasions for standing the initial posts up right and then assistance with the roof panels. Took me approximately 4 days off and on. I do not have a construction background but I'm some what handy around the house. I would recommend getting a few other people to tackle this thing. You can be working on one section and someone else good be prepping the roof panels. Take your time and do not get frustrated. My neighbors watched me construct this thing and they said they would of just paid to get it built. lol. I downloaded the app which was great to follow along with the directions, didn’t used the instruction manual too much. Very important: Properly get everything level and square. If not, the roof will not fit properly and you will also cross thread your washers/bolts. Have some WD40 handy or a tap and die set for the bolts because they only give you one or two extra. You have to have the boards lined up or the bolts will cross thread. Also, I recommend running a string line/chalk line when screwing down the sheet metal to keep everything straight and on mark. Probably day one info for construction minded guys but just trying to help you normal Joe’s out there. You don’t want to miss the 1x4’s underneath the sheet metal and have exposed sheet metal screwing staring down at you. Used a 1 gallon weed sprayer to apply Thompson’s Water Seal. Only took about 10 minutes to do. Came out great!

Wife saw it standing tall in the store and absolutely HAD to have it. For pick up bring your strongest friend and your friends strongest friend. The boxes are super heavy and even with the help of the employees it was a HUGE PAIN to load. The Build: One of the most aggravating, pain in the butt weekends I’ve ever had. 1 out of every 3 screws they give you is stripped, all the bolts are boogerd and the pre drilled holes don’t really line up. All in all it took me and 2 friends about 15 hours to build. NOT A ONE MAN JOB. However all that being said it looks good when it’s done and my wife loves it. I guess that’s all that really matters. P.S under no circumstances should you allow your wife to try and “help”. It’ll lead to frustration. Good luck.

i bought this 4 months ago and it is a 5 star product, went together like a glove and every hole lined up perfect. you will need 2 people and do not tighten the bolts and screws till you get the basic frame up, i built the roof on the ground and we lifted up and it went right into place. Backyard great job.

We received the gazebo promptly. My husband and two friends put it together. It took 10-12 hours of work. There were a few not so nice words said during those hours. The major advice I have is to read the directions fully before you start. As the wife's sat back and watched there was much laughing going on watching this interesting process take place. I will highly recommend this product and this is the reason why. We just experienced Hurricane Laura. I am sitting outside with no electricity and I have a smile on my face because this gazebo withstood 100-140 winds. Not even one screw came loose.
