I was going from a very old 2000 basic washer and appreciate all the option on this washer. My clothes get washed thoroughly even in big loads. I don’t have any problems with wrinkles. I even have washed large bedding in it and it does a fantastic job! One thing I wish I had as an option was to get water from the washer. I’m used to a washing machine filling with the lid up… and of course this one the lid closes and locks and then the water starts. So if you want to dilute the bleach or anything you can’t from the washer. But besides that one technicality, the washing machine is amazing and does everything it claims to do!

i had a lot to say but only allowed 800 characters in the review. let's just say that this is as perfect a washer as possible these days. totally satisfied with this purchase. runs great and gets the clothes clean. much less dryer time needed also due to excellent spin cycle.

I have this washer 5 days and when it starts to wash it just continues to make a grinding noise. Such loud grinding noise. And it continues. I asked home depot where i bought it. And two of the ladies that work there said this was so for them to. They had this washer. Loud noise and they just said they close the door so they do not hear the noise. I feel it should not make this sound at all. So far keeping an eye on this washer. Please let me know if it is suppose to make the awful noise. Of my past 2 washer I own, Never made a sound.

We have a family of six and needed something with a large wash capacity and this is it. Cleans really well and the auto dispensing of detergent and fabric softener is great. Price is right on par for this washer. Recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a fan of Samsung appliances for pretty long. This is the second set of washer/dryer from Samsung I've purchased and the new one is even better. It has plenty of room to fit queen size comforter with ease. The vibration reduction makes it wash and spin dry noticeably quieter than before. It's also very easy to use and gets every job done nicely. This great basic washer is just perfect for my family of 4. "Samsung" never ever disappoints me.

Do not buy this if you are petite. Cannot reach into bottom of washer to retrieve small items ie socks and underwear. Have NEVER had this problem with a top load. Also, I was reading in the q and a, that the use of vinegar can damage your machine. I have always used vinegar as a fabric softener, what are you building your machine with that vinegar can damage them? That is need to know info that your sales reps should share before selling these units, it’s a deal breaker. I like to soak my gentles before washing, just cannot figure out how to accomplish that with this machine? And, I just do not find that there is near enough water to provide proper cleaning of my loads. Have not yet figured out how to add water as I see fit! And….the cycles are sooo long, unless you use the quick wash which I haven’t tried so not sure if your load will be clean. Big mention here, there is no light in the matching dryer, also a deal breaker and sales reps should make sure to point that out before making the sale. Put a light in your dryers Samsung, just an easy small step to make life a little brighter for you customers:) I so wish I could return these units and make a better choice!

we bought this washer in may and i wish we never purchased it. it has ruined so many pieces of clothing by stretching out the collars and shirts turning. we now have to take our clothes we don’t want ruined to the dry cleaner. samsung has sent 5 technicians out and while we agree there isnt a piece of the machine that is broken, it is still causing damage to our clothes. we are so dissatisfied and asked for an exchange but they said we have to buy a new one!! i am never buying from them again. brand new shirts and dresses have been destroyed. customer service has been a nightmare and we wait on hold for over an hour.
