Great Washer

Returned machine

Terrible
without the central agitator, this machine is unable to take large loads or bulky items. I've had the drum retightened, recentered, etc. If I wanted to stand there and babysit a washer, I would've just whipped out a washboard for crying out loud.

PLEASE please
Samsung washer model wa45n3050aw/a4. Serial 0fx45 ddmb07769a 15.11.2019 still has major problems as showed in posting in 2016 & 2017 etc. I can only use cycle DElicate,cold-tem,med-water level with a very small load. The other cycles are the same as stated in comments in prior years. The drum goes crazy and can not complete a load just wasting water. I am the only person using the washer so it's not wornout. It's got to be replaced PLEASE

Great product until recently
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this Samsung top-load washer for four years with zero problems until recently. It still cleans well, handles big loads, and is fairly quiet with intuitive controls. Lately, though, I've had to pause and manually rebalance the drum during the rinse/spin cycle or it thumps around. Not a deal-breaker, but it knocks off a star. Overall: reliable and effective, just be aware the spin-balance can get finicky as it ages.
The worst
this by far is not a energy efficient washer. the time it takes to complete a load is ridiculous if the load becomes un balanced. i've spent several weekends wasting time washing clothes due to that. that's not the main kicker, it'll actually start itself over to go back thru the whole cycle again. i didn't buy a washer to end up taking my clothes to the laundromat i brought it to wash my clothes in the convince of my home. i also didn't buy to see an increase i my utility bill. it's a piece of garbage. not worth the price they're asking.

Don't buy it!!
Unfortunately, the washer I had for 15+ years stopped working two years ago and it was time for a new one. I purchased this one from Home Depot and if I could go back in time, I would not purchase this washer. I've only had it for 2 years now and a technician is coming for a third time to repair it. When this machine works, it's great. However, once a year it conks out - it won't spin and complete a cycle, leaving me with soaking wet clothes. The water will take 30 minutes to fill up before washing and it often “goes off balance”. All things I never experienced with my prior washer. This machine has been a complete headache and I DO NOT recommend this machine. I'm already looking for a new machine because my warranty ends next year and I'm sure I will continue to have problems even after that with this machine. Not worth the headache. Purchase any other brand!!

Suspension issues
I didn't pick this washer out it was part of the package when I bought my home 18 months ago. The washer is continuously off balance with a Ub error code. We rebalance the clothes and it takes 3-5 cycles for the washer to finish a load (this is hours of time wasted and gallons of water wasted). I have according to manufacturer suggestions and YouTube etc researched it thinking I was overloading the machine but I haven't. It goes off balance regardless of load size. Now we found out it's most likely suspension rod issues. So we have to either pay over $500 to have it repaired or do this ourselves (still costing approximately $320 for rods (cheaper ones are on Amazon but our repair man suggested only using factory parts because they last longer. Either way the washer is valued at $545 at my local lowes. So it looks like a engineering flaw is going to be a regular $300 maintenance repair issue until I buy a new washer (not going to be this one for sure)

Wash to the future!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me just start by saying oh my goodness! I have now been using the Samsung washer for approximately a month. It has been the most fun I have had doing the dreaded chore of laundry. My entire family gets excited when it sings a lovely little melody when it is completed. By having an updated washing machine I finally can wash my California king size bedding and actually feel that it is sufficiently clean. I adore not having the agitator in the middle of the washing tub. It was so nice to step into the future with this dream Samsung washer. My old washer and dryer we're going on approximately 8 years old and we're truly old school. it's so nice to be able just to click a button and pick exactly what my laundry needs. I gave 4 stars because I kinda miss the soak option that my old washer had. From what I have found you can not soak your laundry with this washer. I would for sure recommend this washer to anyone who is looking for a reliable stylish product. Happy laundry washing!
