I'm so sick of buying this cheese and throwing half of it away because it molds 2 months early. I'll start returning the moldy cheese and trading for fresh until Sams figures this out.

Purchased a container, exp date is 11/08/2020- over 4 months from purchase. Opened and used one day, two days later, entire container was filled with mold. Disgusting! Will not buy again!

Cheese doesn't melt when trying to cook with it (like making a white sauce). When sprinkled over food then it's ok. The taste is bland though. The "canister" parmesan cheese tastes better than this.

This parmesan shred is really dry and gets worse when you try to melt/brown it. Thats a lot of poor quality cheese to try and use up. Will go back to solid and grate as needed in the future

Hazardous cheese - do not buy! Went bad in the refrigerator well before It's expiration date (by months). One member of our family fell ill after eating it.

My first purchase of this item was very disappointing. Two days after purchasing the product, I opened the container and the cheese was very moldy in the center of the container. I had it in the refrigerator so I feel it was bad when I purchased it. I have never tried again due to this experience.

We use a lot of parmesan cheese and have been purchasing this for a few years -- good value. It does tend to mold in the refrigerator so I've solved the problem by storing it in the freezer. In just a few minutes the amount needed for a recipe or meal will be thawed. I've stored it for several months in freezer and it always tastes fresh when used.

Unless you are going to use all this cheese at once, I would not reccomend. Even with the Best Use Date of April 2025, it does not keep well after opening. Used a cup from the container, when I went to retreve from refrigerator a week later, it was full of mold through out the container.

I have purchased this item a couple times over the last couple years. It has been great in the past, but the last two jars have molded before the expiration or use by date. I just opened the last jar I bought and less than a month later there is mold throughout. I am so sad and very unhappy.

Unless you're going to use the entire container within a week after you open it do not buy. Bought this 3 weeks ago, opened it 10 days ago and this week it's moldy throughout (use by date is 08/04/19). Once again they replaced a good brand with their inferior Members Mark brand. The previous brand kept well in the fridge for at least 2 months after opening like any hard cheese should.
