Longtime Sam's member but had never bought ground beef before, but did out of convenience. Wasn't sure quality, but liked & will buy at Sam's Club again

I have bought this meat for years. It is lean and has good flavor. AND the price went from $10 to over $17 in one month!!! A 70% increase!!! What happened??

I used a packet of this hamburger on July 3 and I thought it was really good. I actually forgot this wasn’t Kroger’s simple truth burger until I was asked to review it. It had very good flavor.

Love the 3 one pound packaging that makes freezing and meal prepping so easy! Also thank you for offering it in various fat contents and clearly marking each pouch.

I got a pack of the ground beef. I cooked one package out of the three. It had a strong ground mutton taste and aftertaste to it. There was subtle hint of ground beed. It was more greasy than usual. Usually, this is a good product. But this time, it had me questioning my taste buds.

Not sure if they've changed suppliers but for the past ~3 months there has been a noticeable shift in quality. Even though it's not sour or rancid it doesn't smell like typical ground beef. Even after cooking I had hopes it would at least sear/brown but it remains pink and dries out without developing any flavor. Initially I thought I received a bad batch and threw the package away. But after purchasing this a few more times in hopes that was a fluke the quality has been consistently flavorless and odd.
