Good TV but....limited apps

I was bummed today when I got the TV home, set it up, and tried to download the Spectrum app and some others that I was interested in. I specifically saw in the other reviews that I could and that's why I got it. This particular model number (N5300) is not on the compatable model number for the apps that I wanted. So beware and check ahead of buying if this would be a problem for you. Otherwise, the TV seems to be nice and was easy to set up.

design flaw..big one

Overall I am pleased, however my one complaint is the flimsy stand!! I wish Samsung would go back to the design with the stand in the center which was much sturdier.( model 330 ) I can rock the tv back and forth with very little effort and concerned my cat might knock the tv off the stand. (and I am not willing to bolt it to the wall with string as suggested in the owners manual)

Great Pic Quality, But Very Stressful To Navigate

First of all, I had a difficult time placing on the legs because it required a tiny phillips screwdriver. Then I couldn't use the TV until I registered with Samsung. requiring an email and a password. WHen I turned on the TV is asked me for my email and password. If I made a typo, I had to re-enter all the information again. The remote had no light so I had to turn on a light to view the controls. It is difficult to usethe features on the remote. If I knew how much stress it would cause to operate this TV, I wouldn not have purchased it.

Great Looking & Reliable 32”

I've had this tv going on 3 years now. I’m not sure if there’s a difference between this and the 43” but I’m happy w my 32” and had to chime in on the low star reviews. The only reason I deducted a star is the brightness can be quirky. This TV adjust for ambient light and does a good job in general but can overcompensate, especially with getting dark. Not the biggest gripe but can be annoying once in a blue. The IR sensor is in a bad location under the tv, so if it’s sitting flat, nuff said. But I’ve only moving it around to sit outside, no biggie. The picture is great! It’s very clear and crisp. I’ve only used a few apps and like the live channel app. This is my work monitor so I don’t watch too much tv on it but I forget if I’m sitting at my desk if I do. This is my 4th Samsung and all of them are still working great, even the 12 y/o one. I would suggest it/buy another.

A Samsung household

we've replaced all our tvs with smart tvs to facilitate streaming-only watching. all tvs are samsung, ranging from 32" to 60". excellent picture and decent sound without additional speakers or soundbars (we're not serious movie watchers!). highly recommend samsung products.

Waste of Money

worst tv on the market. having been the engineering side of tv and related products for 25 years, i thought samsung would have improved by now, but no dice. tv would not scan for "over the air" signals when ethernet cable was plugged in. menu system has gone from bad to really bad. samsung can make monitors. not tvs.

Great for TV or Computer Monitor

i have 3 of these televisions - one is being used as a computer monitor, one for a home office and the third in a guest bedroom! great picture, the sound could use boosting - but is adequate sound for a home office, bedroom or computer monitor. i wouldn't suggest this for a large living room. i absolutely loved the ease of setting up and using these 32" sets.

DECENT

Gorgeous picture, but the sound is as if it's being broadcast from a tin can and the people have marbles in their mouths. We purchased bluetooth speakers, but found that it's not bluetooth compatible. Just purchased a sound bar. Fingers crossed on that. It was a challenge to pair with Spectrum's remote, but with the assistance of Spectrum's team, it is finally done.

No sleep timer…Disappointed!

I am very disappointed that this television does not have a sleep timer on it. I realize it will turn itself off automatically if there hasn’t been any activity by the viewer however that’s after four hours. I don’t see a way to get it to reduce that to an hour or two I’m very disappointed in that. I think that’s a waste of electricity and I would like my TV to put me to sleep at night, but not sit there and run and wake me back up again after a couple of hours, so yeah, I’m very disappointing. That’s why the low rating.

Good TV Great picture

Arrived on time. Well packaged. Easy to set up. Much lighter than our old TV. Great picture, good sound. Fits perfectly in our corner cupboard. Just what we were looking for although we will probably never use some of the smart features. We have cable TV so have to use the Xfinity control for changing channels, and the Sony control for on/off.
