Poor sound

I received this tv a week ago and the sound is so bad. Even at low volume, there is distortion, vibration and there is no bass. it's not a joke, the sound on my cell phone is literally better than the TV. So bad that it ruins movies. I had to buy a sound bar and the tv doesn't come with Bluetooth. Seriously come on Samsung, I thought you were able to do way better then that! The color is great and it's easy to install but that's about it. I bought a Samsung tv 8 years ago and I was impressed by the picture and sound quality, but not anymore. I am very disappointed and next time I will buy with an other company.

Terrible stand.

The stand on this tv is not fit for purpose. It is so flimsy. A door shut in a breeze and the tv toppled forward and smashed. My son saved all his Christmas and pocket money to buy this tv. He is heartbroken. The tv itself was good but the stand is terrible. So sad.

Optical socket issues a serious downside

This arrived today and set up wasn't too bad with the exception of the optical connection (to a JVC soundbar which doesn't seem to work). Just silence! I have altered the sound settings to favour the optical socket over the internal speakers but can't find out any information about what else can be done to resolve this. Perhaps there are more buttons to press ?? If so, it would be nice to know where. The internal speakers are "tinny" (as expected with all modern flat TVs) so this is all seriously detracting from the very decent picture for the price. There is no headphone socket to use as an alternative connection-i had realised this before buying but didn't think it would be required, and no Bluetooth

Functional but...

The TV mostly does the job, but every few weeks when I turn it on, the volume shoots sky high and the sound is garbled. I have to turn the TV and Direct TV off and on again to get normal sound. In addition, the picture is not particularly crisp. I expected more from a Samsung as my last Samsung TV was super clear and never experienced any issues until the end of its life.

Another Great TV

I’ve had this tv for about 3 years now and I love it. I use it primarily as a work monitor and am pleased. The wifi works great, used a few of the apps and I love live channels app. The only reason I won’t give it 5 stars is that every once in a blue it gets ‘dark’. Not blackout dark but super dim. I thought it was the adaptive light feature, which I love btw, but no. I can say it’s happened so rarely it’s not worth making a fuss. The ambient light feature works well, could be better but it does do a pretty good job at adapting as it faces the sun (screen). It does have a few hiccups when it gets dark trying to compensate. Overall I would definitely buy this tv again and recommend it. Mine was open box buy and it was a steal. Samsung tv’s hands down are worth what you pay for. This little 32”s picture is close to my Samsung 55” plasma, but no cigar. It is very clear and crisp and on par with my life’s good in the other room that’s 10” bigger. This is my 4th Samsung and they all are still kicking from 12 years old down to this one. I couldn’t stand by and let the low star reviews dog my little workhorse!

No needed documentation

This TV does not have adequate documentation. I'm 85 years old, but I grew up with computers. So I was able to figure out how to use NetFlix. The average person my age and even younger would not have been able to do so. Samsung needs to supply the user with step-by-step instructions for using all of the features of this TV. It is irresponsible not to do so!

Shadow circles

Bought as a surprise for my 83 year old dad. Was delivered Saturday and I helped him set it up Sunday. There is a small square shadow top center and shadow circles radiating down. It isn’t obvious in dark screens but very prominent in light settings such as skies. Taking it back.

Garbage!

2 sets in 2 weeks. The first one the screen went out a week to the day with minimal viewing hours. I own several Samsung TVs and no issues so I thought it was a bed set and exchanged it. The 2nd one lasted 3 days with about 2 total hours of viewing before it decided it doesn’t want to turn on. DO NOT BUY THIS TV! I guess it’s time to move on to a different brand

Horrible user interface.

Most complex setup of any TV I have ever purchased. Took it back same day. If I would have kept it I would have ended up throwing something through the screen. There was nothing intuitive when navigating the menus. Didn't even bother to try to get rid of unused icons for Hulu, AppleTV, HBO Max, etc. that I don't subscribe to. If it's even possible. Purchased a Roku based TV and it's very easy to add or subscription services that I do subscribe t0 like Paramont+, Peacock, or FuboTV.

Yes on HDD. No on time shift.

This was a replacement for our beloved M5300 which has a broken screen. The new N5300 can not record live TV like its predecessor. Can not change region. At least I couldnt figure it out and samsung tech suppt said it was not possible on this model. Good news is the usb does still support a hard drive (hdd). groundhogyh at yahoo
