The Right One

This was a purchase immediately after I returned a much less expensive tv that offered similar features. Set up was a snap. The unit worked out of the box. If you are like me and enjoy “bargains”, go ahead and try the less expensive brand. However, keep in mind, this tv works as promised. You may also skip frustration and shell out the extra bucks and start with the Samsung.

Tech savvy only

I bought this TV for my sister who is in a board and care. This TV is not as user friendly as I anticipated. Trying to find instructions regarding adding apps was difficult and I still haven't figured out how to delete them. We tried to sync Bose wireless noise canceling headphones without success. The picture quality is great.

Mixed Review

I bought this recently, and, in my haste did not realize that it doesn’t support Bluetooth! A third HDMI port also would have been helpful. Otherwise, everything else is good. The picture is sharp, and I appreciate AirPlay. If there is a compatible Bluetooth adapter you can recommend, I would be a happy camper.

Great Looking & Reliable 32”

I've had this tv going on 3 years now. I’m not sure if there’s a difference between this and the 43” but I’m happy w my 32” and had to chime in on the low star reviews. The only reason I deducted a star is the brightness can be quirky. This TV adjust for ambient light and does a good job in general but can overcompensate, especially with getting dark. Not the biggest gripe but can be annoying once in a blue. The IR sensor is in a bad location under the tv, so if it’s sitting flat, nuff said. But I’ve only moving it around to sit outside, no biggie. The picture is great! It’s very clear and crisp. I’ve only used a few apps and like the live channel app. This is my work monitor so I don’t watch too much tv on it but I forget if I’m sitting at my desk if I do. This is my 4th Samsung and all of them are still working great, even the 12 y/o one. I would suggest it/buy another.

Sound would cut-out while watching tv channel program. Tv hooked-up to my Sony sound bar. It happens very intermittantly and all I have to do is change channel to get sound back again. Samsung tech no help! Would not purchase another Samsung!! My sister had to ditch her Samsung due to eventually learning of power supply defect. (BOTH 32" TV's)

Great TV--but remote has limitations

The TV itself is of great quality. Audio and video solid. I struggle with aspects of the remote control design--the lack of a "sleep" button drives me crazy (there is a sleep timer, but it's about 5 menus deep in the settings). Other things on the remote aren't intuitive and could be more streaming-friendly, but overall I'm pleased with the combination of quality and price point.

Great picture but TV has a mind of its own

I have two other Samsung TV's that have been great, so I was excited to buy this unit for my bedroom TV. It was easy to set up and the picture was amazing. However, the sound was weak and the TV would turn itself off or cycle. I thought I was having cable problems and called my cable company for service. The tech checked everything and pointed back to the new TV. While he was there we couldn't get the TV to turn off. I returned it within three days of purchase and exchanged it for the same set, thinking I just got a lemon. I had the same problems with the new replacement. It would cycle or turn itself off. To get it to turn back on I would have to unplug it and plug it back in. Returned this and bought a new TV from a different manufacturer which has been excellent!
