[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My grandsons love these Pillsbury slice & bake cookies. It’s a great after school snack. I bought the chocolate chip & also the sugar cookie slice & bake cookies. These are quick, easy,& delicious.

I used to love the old recipe for these cookies! I bought these, and did not know the cookies now have a new recipe. This one tastes absolutely awful, I might as well just buy chips ahoy! If I could have put zero stars, I would have. So disappointing. I hope they make the old cookies available for purchase.

The last 2 logs tasted rotten and they were purchased from different stores. I think I may switch to nestle because the nestle brand because I’m guessing they changed ingredients or flavor.

After reading quite a few bad reviews, I had to buy a pkg and see for myself what the fuss was all about (hadn't bought chocolate chip cookie dough in a while).  So, the recipe is a little different... but the taste is fantastic! Maybe not quite as sweet as the original. My family loves the new recipe. (Still better than Tollhouse, in my opinion.)  I'll definitely keep buying your cookie products.

i love this cookie dough so much! they make the best cookies if you don’t want to make homemade ones. it says not to eat raw but i think everyone does and this stuff is so good when it’s not cooked. they don’t take long to bake and just opening the package and eating it is great too!!!

The best part is that you don’t have to worry when they try to eat some of the dough since it is safe to eat raw. The end result is always fun to eat as well and as always, they taste amazing! We like to keep different varieties of these in the freezer for when we feel like baking.

I just tried your new recipe chocolate chip cookies, and they were great!  So much better than the old recipe.  The old chemical flavors are gone and much more like a homemade cookie in texture and flavor.  I am not sure why some others did not like them because my family thought they were much better than the old recipe.  When I took the old ones to school even the kids avoided them.  I don’t think they will do that with these.    I hope some of the people who have had a negative opinion of these will give them another try.   These are great!!!!

Our attempt to make the white chocolate macadamia nut version of these cookies was completely unsuccessful.  The oven was preheated to 350 and the cookies properly prepared.  After 18 minutes, they were clearly not done - shiny and squishy.  After 30 minutes they looked unchanged, but we took them out and discovered that the white chunks weren't really melted, and were surrounded with raw, melted dough.  The cookie was hollow underneath, like a mushroom, except for the glop of white chocolate and raw dough.  The expiration date was seven weeks in the future, the oven is a modern and  reliable Aga, and we live at sea level, so not sure what went wrong.  My wife is a very experienced baker just looking for a Super Bowl prep shortcut. Cookies made from scratch don't have these problems, so no more packaged experiments for us.

Do I have to give the dough a star? This new dough is Horrible with a huge capital H. Tasteless, no wonderful smell while baking, even looks different. This dough has been a family favorite for years, but no more, I will not buy this product again. I guess I will have to buy a different brand from now on. Or, hey, here's an idea, I could perfect my own recipe. Never again Pillsbury, you have lost a 20 year customer.
