I never post comments on any public forum, but this new recipe ruined a classic. This has been my favorite cookie for as long as I can remember and I’ve passed along my love of pillsbury to my kids as well.  It’s become the go-to dessert for us. Tonight my daughter baked a batch of cookies, but after the first bite I knew something had changed.  All of us we’re commenting on the strange taste.  We had pulled out the package to double check the brand when we noticed the “new recipe” labeling.  Please switch back to the original recipe.  We’re going to try Tollhouse cookies hoping they are closer to the pillsbury cookies we love.  Hopefully, this will just be a short lived “New Coke” experiment before bringing back the Classic.

Our favorite!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we don’t want to make our own chocolate chip cookies from scratch, these Cookies are always a hit and so delish!! I keep this cookie dough in my fridge at all times for when we want that last min sweet treat cravings and it’s too late to go out. They always come out soft and sweet (the way we like it)! My kids also love it and love to help prep them on the cookie sheet. It helps a lot that they are perforated for easy sizing and equal servings!

I just made these cookies. I was shocked at the difference. Although the flavor seemed okay to me, they backed quite differently than I am used to. I have been making these cookies for ages and have never burnt a single one. I watched them as always. Made them on my cookie stone as always. I noticed that they were that lovely brown color and decided to pull them even though they were still very soft to the touch like not quite cooked. Imagine my sadness when I start taking them off of the stone and they are like charcoal briquettes on the bottom. The tops were perfect but the bottoms, not a chance. I should have known they were too good to be true when they pulled apart without any effort at all. :( I think 6 were edible.

Garbage ever since they changed the recipe. Won't ever buy them again until they change it back. They used to be so good. They now taste completely different and bake differently as well. Please change them back. Would give zero stars if I could and clearly everyone else feels the same way based on the 2 star review.

"PLACE cookie dough rounds about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet." I don't know which of your brainiacs thought putting the raw cookie dough on an ungreased cookie sheet was a good idea, but they should be fired. PLACE cookie dough rounds about 2 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheet. There I fixed it for you. Other than that, the cookies were good.

I just tried your new recipe chocolate chip cookies, and they were great!  So much better than the old recipe.  The old chemical flavors are gone and much more like a homemade cookie in texture and flavor.  I am not sure why some others did not like them because my family thought they were much better than the old recipe.  When I took the old ones to school even the kids avoided them.  I don’t think they will do that with these.    I hope some of the people who have had a negative opinion of these will give them another try.   These are great!!!!

Foolproof and Yummy Chocolate Chip Cookies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product. The cookies are pre-cut so they all come out the same size. And they are delicious- especially hot right out of the oven. It’s also a quick and fun baking project to share with the kids and the grandkids!

Here's a link from General Mills with allergen info, though allergist has advised to check "every label, every time"https://www.generalmills.com/en/Brands/Baking/pillsbury/brand-product-listThis is good dough; trick for great baking with it-use scoop, place dough on baking sheet and place in freezer for 15-20 minutes before baking; come out softer and helps keep them from flattening.

Pillsbury ready to bake chocolate chip cookie dough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely LOVE this product.! Not only does it taste AMAZING, if you cook it according To the instructions, and not longer than the time recommended, you get soft, chewy cookies, pair with a cold cup of milk, and it really does make the perfect combination.

These cookies are really good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I buy this product at least once a week for my kids and for my neighbors as well as my Group I walk with on a daily basis and we all enjoy them. I don’t cook them as long as they say to cause they get to hard I usually cook them for about 11 to 12 mins than take them out and let them rest before eating them or giving them out
