What happened? I was so looking forward to my can of beef stew in a recent camping trip. Dingy Moore has been a camping staple for atleast 3 generations in family but I have to sadly say won't be any longer. If you go back to the amazing beef chunks and recipe we will be back but until then..I'm sorry to have to say goodbye :(

One of few products from my childhood that hasn't changed in a negative way. We usually eat the stew on soccer nights when we need something quick and filling that the kids enjoy, but sometimes I grab a can for lunch too. Never disappoints.

My son and I [I'm 77] ate Dinty Moore Beef Stew all the time. This was some years ago. One day, recently, I bought a large can of stew and found that it did not taste the same. It seems to have a taste like liquid smoke was added. My son lives 2,000 miles from me. I gave him a call and asked if he tried the stew recently. He said that he had some and it is not the same. I thought that it was just me. Now I am convinced that the recipe has been changed. Why did you do that? Why mess with a good thing. I can't eat it now because the stew is not like it used to be.

The meat is very tender and so are the vegetables. The taste is really amazing, and it does not taste like other brands. This is like home made beef stew but in a can. Try it and you won't regret it. Highly recommend this, even as a "to go" lunch. This is a must in your cabinets.

I was pleasantly surprised how great tasting this beef stew was compared to other products on the market. That being said though, it tasted like food used to taste when I was a boy and flavor was what ruled the day. Certainly a wonderful, rich flavor and boy does it stick to your ribs!

It is very hearty and filling, and tastes great. I just added a salad and had a fully satisfying meal in minutes. I like the easy opening can as well. I remember having Dinty Moore as a kid, but hadn't tasted it in quite a while. It is so much better than other meals in a can I have had in the past. I would definitely purchase this the next time I am at the store, and would recommend it to anyone that wants a fast and easy meal that tastes great.

The taste was delicious and left me wanting more cause it was the small can. I definitely will be picking up some more at the store. Very good for the whole family.

It had a good tasting beefy broth and it had large chunk of meat, carrots, and potatoes.One thing I noticed it said on the can was there are NO preservatives, which is always a plus. I remember eating this as a kid with my dad who always liked it. I was able to taste this again thanks to the Viewpoints program who sent me this to review.
