[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved it! I've been a Dinty Moore fan for years. The only thing I would change is add more meat, there was hardly any in the can I tested. Taste was great, vegetables were cooked just right. I could have eaten another can.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dinty Moore Beef stew is great! I love the flavor of the gravy and the big chunks of potatoes and carrots but the star is the beef. The beef is very soft and tender and there is no fat attached to it. This is an easy meal to prepare. I like it with a bit of bread because the bread tastes awesome with the gravy and it fills me up. I will continue to buy Dinty Moore Beef Stew.

I grew up in the mid 70's and 80's and Dinty Moore was the absolute best...as have become more health conscious throughout the years; I and my wife moved away from processed foods, and the foods laden with sodium, msg, etc... but while browsing thru the aisle of my hometown grocery store while visiting (as I had since moved away from the small town I grew up in) I ran across this memorable, tasty reminder of my youth.. big mistake, huge! I have never tasted anything as horrible as this gravy train of horrificiness, 4 cans I bought to receive a grand total of 11 carrot pieces, 5 potatoes, and worst of all 3 pieces of what looked like previously chewed meat that was spit in the can.. I was so hurt, as I had championed my decision to buy this mess to my as very health conscious, wife and children. Hormel if this is your way of saving a few cents please stop, you are damaging a beloved brand that will ultimately cost you more than you are saving. I simply can't believe that this is the conclusion that you came to for something that was soooo good... with all my hatred a former customer! P.S. I left 1 star because there is no option for less..Facts!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this was really good, ). I have not had a canned entree since I was a kid and those were not so good. I was pleasantly surprised that this was really good and only took two minutes of preparation to be ready to eat. This will be great for a quick office lunch or the like. The only issue I noted was the gravy was kind of thin, which might have been thickened by using stove top instead of microwave.

I've eaten this yummy stew since I was a child. Now that I'm an adult, I still eat it when I need a quick lunch. My problem isn't necessarily with your product, it is yummy to me, my problem is with the inconsistency of the canning. I recently bought four cans and have been on a lunchtime binge, eating one small call each day for lunch. My first three cans were packed with beef & potatoes, but no carrots to be found. The fourth can that I opened today had NO meat (well, it had three pieces of meat), tons of potatoes and just a few carrot slices. What's up with this? I like the protein that the beef provides but I get none of that when there's no beef. In the words of that famous commercial from my childhood..."Where's the beef?"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I heated my beef stew on the stove top I like it nice and hot, the beef is nice and tender vegetables also and the seasonings are just how I like them, not the same as my home made beef stew but if I didn't have that this would be my second choice.

I was pleasantly surprised how great tasting this beef stew was compared to other products on the market. Dinty Moore Beef Stew in my opinion tastes just like Mom makes on a cold blustery day when you need something to warm you inside.

I have bought for years and kept in my emergency supplies. Living in Florida, the Hurricane capital of the world, it is great to have on hand. It helped during the Charlie, Francis and Jean in 2004 and Irma in 2017. Going without electricity each time for 4-5 days, this was handy. Have noticed that not much stew or carrots in the last 4-5 I have bought. Now am unable to find in local stores. Wonder if you make it any more? Hope to find before June (Hurricane season).
