[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great tasting stew with tender meat and a good amount of vegetables. It makes for a quick and delicious meal. Sometimes that is just what is needed. Such a great thing to have on hand in the pantry. I have added a little sour cream to this after heating it and served it over wide noodles as a beef "stroganoff."

Tender, tasty meat in every spoonful. Gravy was the right thickness, nothing watery about this stew. Only issue was it was a little too salty, but I am not big salt eater.

My son and I [I'm 77] ate Dinty Moore Beef Stew all the time. This was some years ago. One day, recently, I bought a large can of stew and found that it did not taste the same. It seems to have a taste like liquid smoke was added. My son lives 2,000 miles from me. I gave him a call and asked if he tried the stew recently. He said that he had some and it is not the same. I thought that it was just me. Now I am convinced that the recipe has been changed. Why did you do that? Why mess with a good thing. I can't eat it now because the stew is not like it used to be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Haven't had Dinty Moore Beef Stew in years. I thoroughly enjoyed it. My wife made homemade biscuits with it, and it made a good hearty meal. There were plenty of potatoes and beef. The beef was lean, and didn't have a lot of gristle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been years since I've had a Dinty Moore Product. I really enjoyed the vegetables and the gravy in the stew. The beef, however, had an almost rancid taste to me. It wasn't really tender, it was chewier, or, rather, hard to chew. Beyond that, the high sodium content could be tasted. It was way too much salt as far as I'm concerned. Overall, I was disappointed in the product and I'm afraid that I would be unable to recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the idea of this product tastes like homemade, the carrots melt in your mouth, if you did not know it was canned, you would think it was homemade. I received this item in exchange for an honest review. I would highly recommend it.

I mixed with pasta. You changed the beef in the stew. It's more like dog food to me now. I've bought your stew for over 20 years. Now you've ruined it. You got cheap. The last two cans I bought I picked the meat out of it. I will buy it no more unless you change the beef back to you used before. Very disappointed.

One of few products from my childhood that hasn't changed in a negative way. We usually eat the stew on soccer nights when we need something quick and filling that the kids enjoy, but sometimes I grab a can for lunch too. Never disappoints.
