Horrible, Not the stew I remember from my childhood. It has a terrible metalic & chemical taste. I not only threw out the bowl I was eating, but I threw the rest of the cans out. I wouldn't feed it to a starving dog.

Always loved Dinty Moore beef stew. Hurricane staple, as well as easy dinner with rice or noodles. However, I've had to add carrots the last 2 times. What's happening to our quality?

I grew up eating this. Camped with it for years. Now, it's basically dog food. No discernible meat pieces-just "ground beef" pieces. Basically brown potato soup since the carrots are also basically gone. Sad day Hormel. ;(
