My family has been eating the Dinty Moore beef stew for decades. Just recently we had multiple cans that each tasted of bleach and had gritty sand like textures. We keep buying cans of it hoping it was just the couple ones we had originally but every can after has just been awful. Along with the displeasing tastes, our stomachs have been extremely "messed up"...I wont go into too much detail. Regretfully, as a result of my recent experiences with Dinty Moore beef stew my family will not be purchasing any of their products again.

I'm 69 years old & just had a total hip repair. Sure homemade roast beef is deluxe compared to this but considering my situation this is convenient. My Mom used to serve this over pancakes.(delicious). I always have seen the meat ball shaped Hamburg, potatoes, carrots, & celery. I love the gravy. That's why it's good over pancakes. I had this in my kitchen for our children to prepare on their own when I worked as a nurse. It was a favorite of the 200+ foster kids we shared our home with I. The 30 years we did foster care. NOBODY ever complained. I give it a 9 out of 10❣️

I mixed with pasta. You changed the beef in the stew. It's more like dog food to me now. I've bought your stew for over 20 years. Now you've ruined it. You got cheap. The last two cans I bought I picked the meat out of it. I will buy it no more unless you change the beef back to you used before. Very disappointed.

I will not buy this product because the quality and taste is inconsistent. I bought a beef stew dinner and it tasted good, a few days later I bought another beef stew dinner and let me tell you that it tasted awful. It was greasy and it smelled realky bad... like when you open a can of dog food.

I am single and a terrible cook so it hits the spot when I crave a hot, home-made tasting meal and don't want to deal with cooking it myself. I know I could not duplicate the flavor and smooth texture of the gravy. There is plenty of meat and it's always tender. The potatoes are always perfect too..well done without being mushy. There is plenty of stew in the 20 oz can I've always bought. It makes two meals for me. I received a sample package which included the 15 oz Dinty Moore Beef Stew. It tasted just as delicious as the bigger version. After consuming two thirds of the sample I was full. Then I got hit with the "just-one-more-spoonful" bug and before I knew it my bowl was empty. It really was more than I usually eat at one meal but probably the perfect amount for others. It appears I am a 10 oz-a-meal Dinty Moore Beef Stew kind of woman. I have not seen the 15 oz can in the store. Perhaps it's always been there but I just reach for the 20 oz one. The price for that one has remained affordable on my fixed income. I'm sure the 15 oz would cost less.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dinty Moore Beef Stew was great for a quick and easy meal. The vegetables were tender and well flavored. The meat was also good, but a little on the chewy side for my taste. Overall though it was a good meal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this tasted good. The salt level was just right. The only thing I didn't care for so much were the large amount of potatoes, but this is a personal preference. The meat was tender, and there was more than enough gravy for rice or noodles.
