The gravy isn't salty, which I appreciate. The can was a tad bit difficult to open as I keep my finger nails short. I enjoyed this product and I'd buy it on occasion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Call me surprised! first off was the easy open top ..no can opener needed I brought the can with me to work as a lunch.. Opened the can put it into a bowl and microwaved it for 2 minutes... Very nice rich smell and consistency. Identifable meat and vegatables. It tasted much better that I expected a nice rich broth/gravy that was not overly salty. I just say I enjoyed the flavors the veggies retrain their own as did the meat. I will be adding this into my bring in lunch rotation.... It will be an excellent choice for the cold winter days coming. a nice way to warm me up

I have not tried other canned beef stew so I have nothing to compare it to other than my own beef stew and guess what, I'd rather save myself the time and purchase this product. It is very rich and flavorful. I remember eating this as a child but wasn't old enough to appreciate the incredible hearty and flavorful of this stew. I, without hesitation, recommend this product to anyone that is looking for beef stew that is full of rich flavor and is incredibly hearty.

You do not need a can open get, easy open top. The flavor is pretty tasty. It does not taste like home made, but it's pretty decent and really fast and convenient. There are good sized chunks of vegetables and meat and the gravy is a good consistency. Its adequate but not fantastic.

Like so many others have stated, the real beef chunks have disappeared. We now get what I would describe as processed, cheap tasting pressed meatballs. Take away the tender "real" beef chunks and the rich gravy goes with it! So sad that we old timers are constantly being deprived of our old time favorites as companies use cheaper processed ingredients. I feel sad for the younger generations who think this is "real" food!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super east the heat up, and just the right size for a meal for one person. I like the fact that there is no preservatives and the beef stew is thick and hearty. It's a bit on the salty side, which makes it perfect to pour over rice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this as a quick meal on a night when my wife was not at home and I just didn't feel like cooking. This stew had very good flavor, the meat was tender, and the carrots and potatoes completed the stew perfectly. What I didn't like about it is there is a very high sodium content. While I know that most foods taste better when salt is added this product contains almost half of the recommended daily allowance which is very high. Doesn't leave a lot of room for the other two meals or any snacks. Overall I would eat this again but would only purchase once in awhile.
