[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just as I remember as a kid. We didn't often have premade meals but on those occasions a quick meal was needed Dinty Moore was always a favorite and after sampling recently it's still as tasty today as it was way back then.

We all pretty much grew up having once tried this product, not much is needed other than a can opener, heat and a spoon. I personally like a slice of buttered bread to accompany this stew. The potatoes, carrots all held their flavor. The meat was soft and tender, and the gravy was a perfect mix. Sodium is a bit high, but high but all i rember was cleaning the bottom of the bowl with that slice of bread.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put the beef stew in a bowl and microwaved. I ate it as a complete meal for myself. It was very filling, tasty and a complete meal in one sitting. I can also take this to work for lunch. It would be an easy meal to transport.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this stew. I shared it with my roommate. I love the big chunks of meat! It is thick and hearty, and very filling. It has a wonderful flavor. We ate it with a slice of bread. It was the perfect meal after a long day at work.

I grew up on this stuff; or at least what it used to be. I bought 2 cases when Dorian was supposed to wipe out Florida. Ate one can. Tasting the serious drop in quality, I'm donating the rest. You buy beef stew for the beef chunks. I only had a couple small pieces with a strange, unappealing texture. Hormel, Get your game back. This is not the quality product we had all grown to love.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dinty Moore Beef stew is great! I love the flavor of the gravy and the big chunks of potatoes and carrots but the star is the beef. The beef is very soft and tender and there is no fat attached to it. This is an easy meal to prepare. I like it with a bit of bread because the bread tastes awesome with the gravy and it fills me up. I will continue to buy Dinty Moore Beef Stew.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked it very much. When I opened the can, I noticed the stew wasn't greasy. There were actual pieces of meat in there. And the vegetable portions were very good. I was able to eat twice from the can. Felt full with a serving size. I liked it and recommended it to others.

My husband and I were long time fans of Dinty Moore Stew. It tasted like grandma's Sunday stew with super meaty flavor and a delicious gravy. We especially loved to take it on our camping trips. No longer will be the case. Not only is the flavor extremely mediocre, soy has been added to the mix. Not a very allergy-friendly ingredient. So very, very disappointed. I would pay more per can to have the original recipe once again.

I like the new meat balls, but I'd eat it either way. To be honest, I almost never buy this product. I live in Louisiana, and during hurricane season, we always buy a couple cans of Dinty Moore, just in case we experience an outage and can't cook for ourselves. That being said, I know better than to expect that this soup would taste like home made or would have ingredients I normally use. I purchase this for specific reasons (one being that I despise Campbell's soups). But for the low price point and the high protein and the surprisingly fair calorie count, it winds up being a nice pantry staple for inclimate weather. I do, on occasion, grab a can for when I need a quick lunch for work. To summarize, you get what you pay for, and it's actually superior to other similar brands, in my opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dinty Moore Hearty Meals Beef Stew makes a great quick meal when there's no time to cook. This beef stew is pretty hearty. There's a good amount of real potatoes, carrots and beef in a nice rich gravy so it will satisfy your hunger. I was surprised by the amount of protein, 10 grams per serving. I really like the fact that it only takes about a minute to heat. I received a free sample of this product for testing purposes. All opinions are mine alone based on my actual use of the product.
