I was pleasantly surprised that this was really good and only took two minutes of preparation to be ready to eat. This will be great for a quick office lunch or the like. The only issue I noted was the gravy was kind of thin, which might have been thickened by using stove top instead of microwave.

It is absolutely perfect for lunch or dinner on a cold, fall day, or coming in after shoveling tons of snow! Easy to prepare, it's hard to believe you get.nice chunky pieces of potatoes, carrots, and meat. The seasoning is perfect for my taste.. No need to add salt or pepper. I highly recommend this product in the sampling box. Stock up! You'll be happy you did.

When the product is on it's great. 5 stars for a canned product, 4 stars more generally. But it frequently is not on, and this has become an increasingly frequent issue as time goes by. Frequently they have clearly performed little to no quality assurance on the ingredients, and have likely actively reduced the quality over time because they think it's smart to reduce costs and quality at the same time. Sometimes the gravy is thin, light brown, and barely flavored. Frequently one or more of the carrot pieces is blackened and inedible, tainting the entire can with its wretched flavor. Sometimes the potatoes will still have seemingly dirty, unwashed skin still left on them, or will have green spots, or black spots, and similarly taint the can. If none of these happen it's a 4-5 star easy, enjoyable product. But if one of them does, and it seems pretty likely it will, it's a 1 to 2 star product, if it's even edible. I also agree with other reviewers that while this product once had something more like steak chunks in it, they have since been replaced with a lower quality, less flavorful ground beef. This company seriously needs to re-evaluate how it picks the quality of its ingredients, because right now they are doing it wrong on absolutely everything.

It had a good tasting beefy broth and it had large chunk of meat, carrots, and potatoes.One thing I noticed it said on the can was there are NO preservatives, which is always a plus. I remember eating this as a kid with my dad who always liked it. I was able to taste this again thanks to the Viewpoints program who sent me this to review. This review is my own and not because I got this for free to sample. If you want a good tasting stew without the hours of work, this is for you!

The potatoes had huge black spots on them that were hard and fibrous. Had to hand pick them off most of the potatoes which is not something you should have to do to have an already made meal in a can. It was the same for all three cans I bought so it had to have been a batch thing. We have been buying dinty moore beef stew for years. Don't know that we will do it again.

Even my 2 year old Grandson liked the beef stew. It just reminded me of the stew my parents made at home growing up. Serving size was perfect. Would definitely recommend and will purchase again! I actually got two servings from this product. Living in Florida, this is a great product to have on hand in case of hurricanes. I did have to add a bit of salt and pepper for taste, but I would definitely purchase this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great taste, lots of meat. Generous on the stew part. Each can is 2 servings at 200 calories with 90 calories from fat. One can has almost a full days worth of the RDA for Sodium at 82%. Not sure half a can is really filling as a meal, but fine for a snack. There meat and potatoes are soft, and very flavorful. I love the pull tab part, makes it easier to take with me, and not need a can opener. Almost wish the cans could be put directly in the microwave though.
