I was a Dinty Moore beef stew fan for years but things began to change with the introduction of formed meat chunks. Put that aside and the rest was still ok. But now someone (probably in trying to increase sales) has messed with the total package and turned the can's contents into a sloppy, watery, tasteless mess. What a sad day to see what was once a great product reduced to such a state. Time for me to say goodbye Dinty Moore.

I thought the flavor was good the pieces of meat and potato were good. It's very filling. It's great for work or camping. I would recommend this product to anyone who likes hearty stews.

It was a very hearty and filling meal, and had a good flavor. There was a good quantity of meat too, which was nice. The only problem was, after an hour or so, I had some terrible heartburn. I guess it's heavier food than I usually eat. Still, it's overall a good hearty product.

I had this as a child growing up. I wanted to try it again but would like the same quality as years back with actual big chunks of beef and plenty of carrots too. If you are trying to cut corners this is not the way to do it! If you ever go back to the "classic" recipe let the people know. Otherwise not good for business!

I received this as a free product from the manufacturer in return for an honest review and, I have to admit, I wasn't really expecting too much. However, when it hit the plate I was pleasantly surprised. The texture was great, it smelled delicious and it tasted just right. I was delightfully surprised at how tasty this meal turned out. I ate mine with freshly mashed potatoes.

The consistency of broth was thick,I added a little water to this. This is almost as good as my moms. My husband loved it and was excited he didn't have to add salt or pepper. He already went and bought a few cans to have for a hearty, fast meal.
