Perfectly good stew for what it is, a canned quick and convenient stew that will satisfy any hunger. Hearty stuff. Have eaten this stuff for decades and quality has been consistent for me, so not sure what other reviewers are talking about. But will continue to enjoy this stuff

Growing up Dinty Moore was my all time favorite canned stew. It still is, however its not what it used to be. The stew was ok, and still brings me back to my childhood, however, It is not the same. The gravy wasn't as smooth as it used to be, perhaps due to the meat bits... There was also a noticeable decrease in the amount of beef chunks. I counted two. :( I also noticed the lack of a finger print. Is it still better than the competition? Yes. Will I buy it again? Yes. Also, I would gladly pay a little more for the original recipe. Please?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This brought back so many great memories, growing up we always got a can or two or three each week, and the flavor, texture and taste has not changed one bit, it was like going home once again, thank you for letting me sample this item, I have got it on my grocery list and will open a can up through out this fall and winter to enjoy beef stew once again.

I used to eat beef stew all the time when I was growing up. Even still got it every week or two as an adult. I few years back they changed the recipe (for some reason) and introduced small pieces of beef or ground beef in the mix and changed the gravy that was in there and the type of beef that was in there too. I'm not sure why they changed it but ever since then I have been on a search for another beef stew to purchase. If they decide to bring back the "Classic" recipe (like Chef Boy Ar Dee did with their recent throwback recipe) then I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Until then, the search continues....

This is not anything i would ever buy again. The meat? Is a ground something that's supposed to look like beef but .....the flavor is the same no matter what you are eating, carrots, potatoes gravy taste all the same. This is more like dog food than food for people. Campbell's chunky beef soups are way better. Not so sure why they call it chunks of beef. Also it is very mushy. If you are used to homemade beef stew you will be very disappointed in this. I'm taking it back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The serving size is just right for a guy my size. Big chunks of meat and veggies make it seem like you did a pot roast at home. The gravy isn't salty, which I appreciate. The can was a tad bit difficult to open as I keep my finger nails short. I enjoyed this product and I'd buy it on occasion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stew is delicious I made it on a cold rainy day. Great comfort food for me. It would taste really good over rice. I like the big chunks of meat and veggies. Would be easy to make for lunch at the workplace.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a satisfying bowl of beef stew. Taste is good. But I wish it is less salty. I think the salt can be dialed back a lot. Otherwise this taste good and I like the amount of the protein in this can. On par with similar products I usually use. A good quick meal.
