The ease of just heating up is a plus for someone wanting a fast dinner. The flavor is not bad without tasting to seasoned or salty. The texture of the meat was good as was the overall flavor. They have improved over the years as this is not what I remember eating a long time ago, so at least they are looking to make the quality better.

I find it convenient to heat up and place in my thermos to have at work throughout the day. The flavor is rich and fulfilling. I love the nutrient dense ingredients list!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The beef stew was so meaty and filled to the gills with veges. It was so much better that progresso. It was actually STEW and NOT soup. When I bit into the first piece of beef, it was so tender and tasted grilled. I am currently looking to stock up on Beef Stew as it is perfect for this cold weather. Very fulfilling and a wonderful comfort food! I had heard of the Dinty Moore name and now I see what all the fuss was about. Great quality and tasty items. I believe everyone should give the beef stew a try, Dinty Moore sure won me over.

I have been using it since I was younger and it does not disappoint I use it by pouring over rice, or sometimes just as is straight from the can! The gravy is plentiful, the carrots and potatoes are quite good I wouldn't complain if there were beans added to it, as a matter of fact, you can add things of your liking if you wanted. Make some biscuits or croissants to go with it or plain bread and butter, you can't go wrong!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this over rice. Just warmed it through and spooned over the rice. It's changed a lot in the past 20 years i feel. I remember big chunks of beef but this was more mushy. I'm all not bad for a quick throw together dinner.

I just bought my normal can of Beef Stew for a quick lunch and was severely disappointed. My favorite part of DM (other than the beef itself) has always been how thick the gravy/broth is. But, when I got it this time it was so watered down. My fiance and I were very disappointed. Normally I can eat all of the potatoes and carrots and when I get to the beef I can use it to lap up the gravy and enjoy it. Couldn't do that this time. Normally, I can eat the whole meal with a fork because the gravy is so thick it barely runs off the fork. If this wasn't a one-time thing and it's like this from now on, I will never buy Dinty Moore Beef Stew again and will instead have to make it at home with a can of beef with juices.

I grew up eating this stew and fed it to my daughter while she was little as well. Just opened a can for the first time in a long time and the meat is all weird now. Small pieces that fall apart when you chew. The vegetables are so small. I remember big pieces of meat. It was so good! doesn't have the same taste/flavor. Why would you guys change something that was already good to begin with? I don't understand why companies do this. It seems to happen a lot. I don't know if it's a cost thing or what, but while you may be saving a little by making a cheaper product...you're likely losing more money from losing customers. Please bring back the old recipe. :(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I heated my beef stew on the stove top I like it nice and hot, the beef is nice and tender vegetables also and the seasonings are just how I like them, not the same as my home made beef stew but if I didn't have that this would be my second choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a satisfying bowl of beef stew. Taste is good. But I wish it is less salty. I think the salt can be dialed back a lot. Otherwise this taste good and I like the amount of the protein in this can. On par with similar products I usually use. A good quick meal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, it was a pretty big can. It is a 2 serving can which is good for 2 small people or 1 really hungry person. It was very thick and looked nothing like the picture once in the bowl. However, it was alright. It was no where near as good as homemade but it will work in a pinch. I don't think I would recommend this to anyone other than maybe for an emergency kit. I think a teen or college kid might like it better but my palette begged for something more.
