A delicious hearty meal that we most definitely will buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the beef stew as a dinner meal with my family. We had toasted french bread and butter with our meal. We all loved it! Dinty Moore beef stew tastes like beef stew should. Thick gravy, delicious chunks of meat, potatoes and vegetables. A fantastic way for the children to actually enjoy eating their veggies. An unexpected plus for us all was that every one wanted seconds! We actually went to the store and purchased an additional two cans so we would have enough for dinner, I am so very happy we did! Sampling this product was our pleasure.

Good for emergency rations or a quick dinner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like to keep a few of these shelf stable meals on hand in case of emergency (up here in the north east is usually a snow emergency), but occasionally they also serve the "I'm too tired to cook" evening as well. They cook in 2 min or less depending on your microwave, and they have a good meat to veggy ratio. All in all, pretty good for canned stew. I recommend keeping a loaf of Italian/French bread handy, helps make 1 can a meal.

Very Good Beef Stew from a can, but serve it with biscuits!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Surprisingly good taste from a can, and over 10 Grams of Protein too! There were only 5 small chunks of meat, in the two serving can, so I would suggest dividing it accordingly. Also, I would make some biscuits to go along with it, if you want it to come closer to a meal, but in a pinch, with no time to prepare a meal, this will be good to have on the shelf!

No meat. No finger print on the lid. Not the same.

Growing up Dinty Moore was my all time favorite canned stew. It still is, however its not what it used to be. The stew was ok, and still brings me back to my childhood, however, It is not the same. The gravy wasn't as smooth as it used to be, perhaps due to the meat bits... There was also a noticeable decrease in the amount of beef chunks. I counted two. :( I also noticed the lack of a finger print. Is it still better than the competition? Yes. Will I buy it again? Yes. Also, I would gladly pay a little more for the original recipe. Please?

Excellent product, tasty and good portion!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I very much enjoyed this beef stew. Everything from the taste to the texture to the portion of the meal really makes this a smart choice for lunch, dinner, anything. I also very much liked the fact that it does not take very long to prepare, just a couple of minutes and it's ready to go. In all honesty, it does not stray very far away from tasting the way beef stew tastes when it is freshly made just minutes before serving, which is nice. The portion is not too small, not too large, making for a nice dinner (in my case) that will not make you feel hungry or extememly full afterwards. Overall, the taste and composition of ingredients is great and the quickness of preparation is also a positive. Would recommend to anyone who likes great beef stew.

I would buy this product again and again as a 5 star product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was the first time trying this brand and not to mention their Beef Stew brand. Compared to other canned food brands I would say this was better than the ones you see advertised heavily. I would buy this Beef Stew from DINTY MOORE since more than likely they are the same costs as the other brands. I really enjoyed this provided to me. I give them 5 stars for exceptional taste and flavor. I wasn't aware of this Sampling Box Product from DINTY MOORE before participating in this program. I would highly recommend the DINTY MOORE canned food products to others. When it comes to Beef Stew I do love that especially if you need something warm this is great. Not to mention the flavors in here are great.

Very disappointed

I've been eating Dinty Moore Beef Stew for decades. I noticed a few years back, they changed the recipe and have struggled to buy any more. At first I thought I got a bad can so threw it out, but each can after that was the same. This may be gross to health nuts, but when there was no lard on the lid, I knew something was afoul. Anyway, wish they would revert back to the original recipe, but think I just ate my last can of it. So sad.

I would buy DINTY MOORE Beef Stew again and again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] DINTY MOORE HEARTY MEALS Beef Stew was so delicious. I love DINTY MOORE HEARTY MEALS Beef Stew. It is the perfect meal for fall weather, when it starts getting colder outside. I think that the stew meat pairs well with the carrots and potatoes. Eat it straight out of the can or warmed up, still the best beef stew around. I would definitely recommend DINTY MOORE HEARTY MEALS Beef Stew to anyone with an appetite for great tasting beef stew.

I would buy this product again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this tasted good. The salt level was just right. The only thing I didn't care for so much were the large amount of potatoes, but this is a personal preference. The meat was tender, and there was more than enough gravy for rice or noodles.

Beef Stew as it should be, delicious!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new recipe takes a bit of getting used to but I love the fact that is now gluten and preservative free. The meat isn't the old pot roast chunks but rather meatball type chunks, this has a few old timers upset but I find the new recipe better, less salty than the old which was way too salty for me to eat by itself. Put this in a casserole dish and cover with some mashed potatoes and cook for 20 minutes on 350 and you've got a quick easy dinner. I've also used biscuits in place of the mashed potatoes and it is equally as delicious.
