Wallmart price could not be beat. I saw this for upwards of $100 on other sites and got at Wallmart for $33 or so. Good to have one place where all important docs are stored (e.g. deed, passports, licenses, certificates, etc.) -

I am very happy with my purchase of the Sentry Safe Model 1170! I think it is a good value for the money. I would prefer for the interior of the safe to be a little bigger but overall it is good for what I needed it for.

This is my second Sentry Safe. My first one was my deceased father in laws, it was dropped and the back of the lid was broken, so I bought a new one. I love my safe.

Needed to save seven years of tax docs for myself and my parents. Took too much room in desk and we live in a fire prone area. Thought this would be a good solution. It was.

It was the right size for what I needed. Did not realize the insulation contained moisture. I put contents in a freezer bag. The key worked alittle bit hard, probably will work easier after it is broken in.

As soon as I opened the box, I could tell that it had been used. It had white stuff on it. When I tried to use the key to lock it, it wouldnt lock. The part that turns to lock got stuck and would not come up. I will be returning.

I love everything about this product. Lots of space and looks good. Only recommendation would be to add handles to the sides to make it easier to carry.

This is exactly what I was looking for! It is super sturdy and well made. Very heavy, solid document safe. It’s the perfect size for regular size hanging files, with good capacity.

Great safe for our purpose. Not a combination safe,but is fireproof & does lock. Heavy,no handles or handholds. Holds a good amount of papers,with or without the file folders.

Purchased in 2000 and has features I need. This safe was used for "important" items & documents. Not big enough for all things though. For the addional items I also had to buy another safe "0310" in 2002 that secured the rest.
