We already have one of these we’ve had for about 20 years or so..but we’ve been intending to get another, due to that fact that we can keep the personal tax records in such a box, without worry about fire, etc. getting more organized this year, meant getting this box, and yes, it has helped a lot. I put a lot of hanging files in it. The price is very reasonable..it’s great.

Weight of safe is reasonable for the protection it provides. Purchase was primarily to protect documents from fire, not security. Not sure how well the key lock would handle an aggressive attack, but it does keep random folks from accessing sensitive documents. Interior is large enough to handle passports, wills (not legal size papers) and similar. Or valuables that need to be accessed quickly (but not something that a thief would grab the whole safe %26 haul away to break into later).

The seller should put a piece of scotch tape over the lock so that styrofoam doesn't have to be fished out in order to open. it's a safe - it's heavy. once I got the packaging out of the keys hole works fine. this is great for storing documents and other valuables. very sturdy

I purchased this for the Nokbox items I purchased. It was less expensive than buying the Fire Safe option from Nokbox. There is enough room, and I hope I never have to determine it's fire safe ability.

While this is a good case material is sturdy material wise with lock and key. You need a space to put it in. Also its heavy. The case did not have a handle to move it around. I would have preferred that. Its sturdy for someone who doesn't have problems with the weight of the case and the space to have it.

Youtube tells thieves how to break in with a toe nail clipper. Mine was broken into a couple months ago and 5k was stolen from it. I'm embarrassed to admit it, but people should know that nothing in this safe is safe from thieves.

I bought this one hoping to store my important documents. But size is small. One can store A4 paper size documents directly but not if the documents are in a folder. Additionally, this is definitely not water-proof. Very disappointed with this sentrysafe.
