I needed a new safe for my documents to replace one that was 25 years old where the lid/keys were worn out. This gives the same amount of room inside, but is more compact for my closet. The lid and keys worked well.

Box is well made and fits our needs to store files, BUT there is no handle on the box so picking it up and carrying it is awkward. Seems it would have been simple enough to add a handle so I wonder why not?

The safe was as described. However it arrived very dirty. Had a large white stain on the top and there were crumbs of something inside. I’m sure the safe works. Was just dissatisfied with how it arrived.

I thought this safe wasnt going to be sturdy enough! My strong football son had to lift safe and place it where I wanted it. I love the key feature, don't have to memorize another password. Big enough for all my important papers and MOM stash! Lol

seems well-built and i hope it is never tested in a fire. only wish it was an inch or two longer from side to side to more easily hold document folders without turning them diagonally and forcing them in.

I like knowing my important documents will be safe in the event of a fire. Fires are devastating enough let alone having to worry about your stuff that needs protected. This is my second one, decided to store even more important things. Not cheap, but do you really want something cheap and take the chance?

Like the safe but the key broke off in the lock. The keys are thin and will break. Fortunately, mine broke off in the unlocked position and the safe will open. If it were locked, OH BOY! YouTube videos show how to remove the piece that's left inside the lock. Hope I can do it.

This is a strong safe for important documents. I like that it has the edges inset to hold hanging folders. All we need to store for 4 adults fits inside. A suggestion to the company is to make the product more enticing by including a set of hanging folders, tabs, and labels much as Noc-Box does. That would really put this product over the top.

Good heavy duty file cabinet for important papers to be secure from minor flood/fire in a home.
