Purchased these as gifts for my 2 children both out on their own now establishing homes. I think they both really appreciated them. They arrived timely and in good condition.

It was the right size for what I needed. Did not realize the insulation contained moisture. I put contents in a freezer bag. The key worked alittle bit hard, probably will work easier after it is broken in.

i bought one in 1996 lasted long time lock with circle radial key failed in the open position - just replaced this one has a new regular key that you can make copies of - has option to bolt to floor. nice to have in case apartment fire.

Now I read the reviews and was leery about purchasing, but ultimately I like this safe. I hope I never have to rely on it for my important documents, but I feel better knowing its there.

I always trust SentrySafe safes - they are strong, reliable, and like most, this one is fireproof! I have a small one, a medium size one (this 1170 Fire File), and a larger one.

Wanted a small lightweight secure safe for both fire protection and prying eyes. This seems to be a great product. Sits in a corner of the closet and out of the way.

It is a good size, not too large. So, it fits in a corner of the bedroom. It holds the papers and files that I need it for. It serves the purpose I bought it for.

SentrySafe 1170 Fireproof Box is well made and very sturdy. It holds all of my important files for safe keeping and protects them well in the unfortunate event of a fire. I would highly recommend this box to anyone.

This is #8 for me! I started in the late 70's with my 1st, & have added more as needed. These work great for me. Portable, safe & secure for document storage. Thank you!

This is the second fire file box I have purchased. I feel confident that my important papers and documents are safe in the event of a fire. My first box is full, so I needed another one.
