We simply can not believe we spent so many years without this bidet. It's perfect in every points and seat is even more comfortable than before. Our family and friends were reticent in trying it...but now they are all jealous and want one too! LOL Also, I have major disabilities with both my arms, and, you might not believe me, this bidet just changed my life for the better.

We've owned our Swash 1000 for 9 years now and it has been fantastic. We've only experienced one small issue and that is the mesh filter (a plastic plug with 2 o-rings) has developed a leak. This is where the customer service comes in. Tiffany and Hailey worked with us to figure out what part was needed and helped us order it. I still think this should be an item that can be ordered on the website, but I don't hold that against bidet seat. From the heated seat to excellent cleaning and drying this bidet seat is excellent. You will not be sorry about purchasing this bidet seat. Take it from a long time customer.

We bought and installed a SWASH 1000 my life has been changed forever!! I have been suffering from hemorrhoids for a couple of years, I had to give up all spices foods forever due to the flare ups that I would suffer from, but ever since I started using the bidet seat I haven't had anymore hemorrhoid flare ups NOT ONCE! I don't want to make a miracle claim but this does improve your hygiene and cleans you better than all the toilet paper in the world can. Also what a join to come in and sit down on a warm seat no more cold shocks in the morning, and did I mention the dryer? Yes you literally will never use your hands again in the toilet not only will it thoroughly wash your butt but it will also dry it.........how great is that? Sorry to gush about my toilet seat but if you get one you will know what a great pleasure it is.

We knew it was a great piece of equipment by reading reviews but two things surprised us. The first was just how easy it was to install ourselves. The second surprise was how sensually pleasing it is to be cleaned by water than with paper. It may be better for you to be cleaned this way but seldom are the things that are 'better for you' also more enjoyable - but this is!

I absolutely love my new Brondell Swash 1000 Bidet Seat. It was easy to install, and it works as expected, including the dryer. I love and use the oscillating feature of the nozzle. The positioning of the nozzles is correct - I had almost no change in the position. This may be TMI, so this is my warning. I have a history of ulcerative colitis, a Jpouch, and now Crohn's. This makes living with the Jpouch and Crohn's sooooooo much easier. With the bidet seat I no longer get the dreaded butt burn, and rarely do I get itching. If I'm constipated, the bidet wash helps to move things along. For someone with my issues, this is a godsend. It is soooooo wonderful. My brother has one as well. He absolutely loves his as well, even though he doesn't have Crohn's or a Jpouch. And by the way, I'm saving a lot in that I no longer use the Calmoseptine, and I use much less toilet paper. This is a must have for me.

We’ve had this model since February and have been very happy with it. Most all features work as advertised and we are happy with our purchase. The point I wish to make about this model and my reason for a 4 star rating instead of a 5 star rating is due to the fact that the odor filter’s efficiency has diminished over the nine months we’ve owned this unit. The first few months, it was amazing how great it worked. Now, not so much. According to Brondell customer service, the filter is permanent on this model and inaccessible. So, there’s nothing to spend more money on, which is nice, but in this case, having access to the odor filter and a way to rejuvenate it would be the best silu of all. Don’t let this stop you from buying this great device, but know that the odor filter cannot be replaced when it’s not working so well any longer.

I took delivery of this bidet today and was excited to check it out. My travels in Japan, where bidets are everywhere, convinced me it’s a much more civilized way to clean than paper. I’m a big guy so I was a bit nervous about the build quality. But it seems quite sturdy. All the functions worked perfectly, and the rear nozzle was perfectly positioned for my body - no fine adjustment required. I did like the oscillation function, though - seems like it would provide more thorough cleaning. The installation was easy and relatively quick. I had to reposition the mounting bracket a few times to fit my toilet, though. Great job with this product, Brondell!

I was like you... reading all the great reviews, wondering if this product was really as good as everyone said it was...I was also suffering from a painful rectal fissure for over 2 years. Needless to say, solving rectal pain and finding a personal hygiene product were at the top of my list.. I was also ready to invest in myself, in my health, as best I could.. In a nutshell - WOW - what a total game changer... awesome product..no question.. I normally don't write reviews, but if my comments might help someone else, then it's worth it to me. Pain control - I bought my Brondell just after recovering from rectal surgery. Being told to sit in a warm sitz bath was demoralizing, impractical and of limited value. Yes, I was desperate when I made my purchase, but once installed, I cannot describe my appreciation for this product. The warmth of the water provided pain relief I had not experienced in years. In addition, and just as important, personal hygiene has now gone from being a total hassle to now being a total breeze. I have never been so satisfied and thankful with an online purchase. Because I was in pain, looking for a product to help me - I didn't care about the lack of an electrical outlet. I just simply ran an extension cord in through the bathroom, till an electrician can install a proper outlet. So, if there is no outlet in your bathroom - don't let that stop you. It didn't stop me. My thought was to install the Brondell ASAP, and get the electrician in due time! This was a totally the wise move for me.. Product quality & instillation - After my purchase, I can agree with an earlier post, that the Swash 1000 was a "godsend" for me. It is obviously well made, easy to install, and easy to use every day. No plumber was necessary, and I am all thumbs for sure! I also agree with those who recommend to use the installation video rather that the instruction manual - the video is much easier to follow. I also agree on getting all the extras, as it makes no sense to wish for them in hindsight.. The remote control is a bit intimidating at first, with all the various buttons, but after a few "Swashes" you get the hang of the settings.. For those who hate remote controls, a separate instructional video might be a good idea some day illustrating the various settings.. Quality of life - I know it may sound corny, and repetitive, but this thing will totally change life for the better, I am telling you.. Having used my Brondell for the past month, I will never, never, never go back!!! This is an investment for life.. Water cleans so much better. It's so much more convenient, and there is nothing quite like a warm seat to greet you! It's like a personal spa treatment, for an "under" appreciated area.. ;) Thanks again for a great product, attention to quality, and making life better!

This is my second Swash Bidet Seat and the 2 weeks between the delivery of the new Swash 1000 and the demise of the earlier model was like going back in time. The inefficient and unsanitary use of crumpled dry paper could never compare to the warm wash my Brondell afforded me. The confidence of feeling clean is a no brainier. I hope that I will never and I mean never have to be without this luxury no this necessity again.
